Blackmalice’s notes: yes, I’m writing my first angst. It’s very, VERY shallow. How about we don’t call it an angst story? Let’s call it angst-fluff. Or fluffy angst. Or sap. Or “dancing blueberry’s pathetic attempt to write angst but failed miserably and ended up with sappy shallow angst”. I’ve warned u, I’m suck at angst. Prologue

 

Rain.
 
It’s still raining outside, making the night look darker than it should be.
 
The long-haired man slowly rose from his bed, walking towards the window. He hated the rain. The smell made him sick.
 
See? If you keep on doing bad things, the sky will cry…
 
That’s what his mother used to say when he was a kid. That way, he would stop being a brat and apologize. Until now, he still hated rain, even more than he used to. The hard rain, accompanied with occasional thunder, seemed to scold him for being such a bad person.
 
He knew it.
 
But he made no attempt to change it.
 
Furthermore, it was raining too that day. That horrible day, filled with the feeling of loss… and pain. Everyone was crying back then. He also didn’t hold back his tears. He couldn’t.
 
He wouldn’t.
 
The tears helped his pain escape from his chest. He needed it, or else he would break.
 
But still, the pain would never go away. It had been made not to fade.
 
A rustling sound came from the bed. A slender figure shifted his body and his eyes fluttered open. He then realized that his lover wasn’t beside him. He blinked and finally caught the sight of the older man standing in front of the window. He arose and slowly approached his lover and tapped him on the shoulder.
 
“Kaoru? Why aren’t you sleeping?”
 
Kaoru turned his head to see the young beauty beside him. That face, those lips, those eyes, the beauty. They never looked like twins, but he still reminded Kaoru of a certain person.
 
I still look for you in him
 
A trusting hand came up to caress Kaoru’s cheek. The older man leaned into the touch, feeling the warmth.
 
It’s your warmth that I long for
 
“Come on, let’s go to sleep…”
 
“Sleep?” Kaoru caught the other’s chin and kissed him gently. “I don’t think I want to sleep…” There was no reason for him to sleep if he only dreamt about that gruesome day.
 
“Perhaps you could accompany me?” Though it hurt him to be with someone who reminded him so much of a certain person, but still a company, at least, keeps his mind from that person he always long for. 
 
Blush filled the younger man’s face. He made little gasps when Kaoru trailed his lips down and started to nibble his neck. Firm hands brought him to the bed, pushing him on his back. Kaoru began to roam his hands under the other’s shirt.
 
I’m imagining he’s you
 
“Kaoru…”
 
The said man smiled and gave another kiss. The kiss turned passionate, and tongues quickly entwined.
 
Because it’s you I want to touch
 
To kiss
 
To hold
 
“…Miyabi.” Toshiya.
