Kyo watched his friend Toshiya as the latter were gazing at Kaoru who were reading on the folders and papers which scattered around his desk.
Toshiya were hardly concentrate on his work. when the lunch break started, kaoru took his cell phone walking out of the office leaving his two friends. Kyo looked up at Toshiya who were kinda depressed "Are you ok?" he started, the raven haired man looked up nodding as he managed small smile. Kyo sighed rising from his desk walking to his friend, he pulled a chair sitting beside his friend "What's wrong?" he asked again. "There is nothing.." Toshiya didn't want his friend to be worried about him, but the other could read it from Toshiya's face "You are sad because of Kaoru ne?" Kyo said softly, Toshiya looked up at him than lower his gaze.
"Why you are torturing yourself? why don't you tell him about your feelings?" Kyo could see Toshiya paled visibly starting to stammer "H-How..?" Kyo smiled at his friend who looked confused "I can see how you treat him, and how you look at him everytime he moves or do anything.." Toshiya lowered his head, he didn't know that he was so obvious. "I don't know what to do.." "You have to tell him.. sooner better than later.." Kyo said gently than sighed, Toshiya looked up at him, he can see sadness washed his face. "I'm sorry.." Toshiya started but Kyo shake his head with small smile "Its ok.. But let me tell you something and I want you to concentrate with me" Kyo said and Toshiya nodded.
"Imagine Kaoru" Toshiya's eyes widen when he heard Kyo "I-imagine him?" Kyo nodded "Yes imagine him, I'm going to tell you some words and I want you to imagine Kaoru as I'm speaking ok?" Toshiya nodded, he were confused. "Close your eyes" Kyo's voice were still gentle, Toshiya slowly slipped his eyes close.
"Now Imagine.. today you are with him.. the ground he walk on is the same ground you walk on.. the air he breath is the same air you breath too.. today he is so near to you.. so close to you.. If you don't see him you can hear his news from anyone.. but.. after this day.. just imagine.. that he is.. gone.." Kyo said softly, he can see Toshiya's eyes quavered but he completed.
"Gone without any warning, he disappeared from the world!! he walked away, away, very away! and there was no way that you can see him again, he went to place that he can't ever be returned!! you are imagining that right?" Kyo asked, Toshiya's face was pale, he didn't know where this was going to lead, he nodded and Kyo continued.
"He went to another world where everyone will go there one day, he went away and left you alone.. death took him" Toshiya opened his eyes looking at kyo, he was frighten but that didn't stop kyo from completing.
"He left you.. alone.. you were lost.. confused.. hurt... and shocked, what can you do at that hour? scream? cry? or because you are shock you will be quiet with an aching heart?" Kyo asked, Toshiya couldn't reply he lowered his head, his lower lip quavered. He never thought about this..
Kyo took deep breath "Your life will go on, but! without him! you are going to live your days. Right! but without his voice, without seeing his eyes, Imagine what you would miss. his voice his love his kindness his sadness his smile his care ness his cuteness his cruelty his innocence his stubbornness his stories his moods his jokes his heart everything about him? Imagine what can you lose your dream your sun your moon your night your heart everything about you?" Kyo trailed off, Toshiya bite his lips, he whimpered kyo was right about everything he said.
Kyo felt so down, he closed his eyes taking deep breath once again. "Are you going to blame yourself because one day you left him or said anything to hurt him? or even didn't tell him about your love?"
Toshiya shake his head biting his lips, his eyes filled with tears. "regret will be useful.. he is under the ground, dead. he left you chewing your fingers in regretful for not saying everything you want to tell him. but your regret will not be useful today.."
Kyo felt his eyes threat with tears "If you love him. go and tell him.. because he is beside you, he lives in the same world with you. today he is with you.. but one day he will not.. dont waste your time thinking how to tell him. Just TELL him."
Toshiya wiped his tears, he knew that Kyo were speaking about himself and how he lost the one he love. Shinya.. who died in accident and Kyo didn't have the chance to tell him how much he loves him.
Kyo let out small smile "How nice to say it before we missed the opportunity and lose the most beautiful thing we had in our life.."
