Chapter 6

"... I think the door is locked."

"Sometimes it does get stuck, you need to pull harder."

"Okay..." Die tried again. "It's not even moving."

Saori covered her mouth and giggled. "Oh come on Die-chan, just stay for the night." She whispered.

"Maybe I can give Saori a call and tell her to open it." Die's voice said.

Saori blinked and turned off her cell phone immediately.

Without a choice, Die could only call out for Saori, Toshiya and even Nanako with his own voice.

"Do you think I should answer?" Toshiya inquired.

"Are you stupid? Of course not!!" Saori pulled Toshiya a little bit away.

Inside the room, Shinya looked at how Die was trying to get the door open and yet it just wouldn't work.

"Ano... I'm sorry Die-sama, this is all my fault." He looked down with a worried expression.

"No, no, it's not your fault." Die quickly intervened.

"But..."

"It really isn't your fault. Don't worry."

Shinya sniffed and blinked rapidly, trying to get the tears to go back. Die sighed and embraced him. "Don't cry."

The younger boy froze for a while and didn't know how his arms returned the embrace. After a peaceful silence, Shinya found the courage to speak up again. "Ano... do... you want to stay here tonight? You can take my bed."

"No, I'll sleep on the floor. You should rest on the bed since your ankle is hurt." Die objected immediately.

"I can't let you sleep on the floor! You have to sleep on the bed, I mean you're the master here... how can I ..."

Die put a finger on Shinya's lips to hash him. "Shinya… don't sir me and master me all the time, will you?"

"Hai." Shinya answered obediently.

Outside, Toshiya sighed in contentment. "Die-sama is such a gentleman."

Saori snorted and rolled her eyes. "Gentleman? This is called stupidity... he should just jump Shinya with this perfect chance..."

"Did you just say that?" Toshiya looked at her with wide eyes.

"Eh?"

"Aren't you Die-sama's girlfriend?"

"Eh?" She blinked a couple of times. "Ah... of course I am!! Shhh!! Listen!!" She quickly pressed her ear against the door again.

Die continued on inside. "Why don't we just share a bed?"

"What? How...? I don't think I should, I mean, I shouldn't even talk to you like this, I mean I am only a servant after all."

"I order you to accept it, after all, this is my house, and you’re my servant, right?" Die replied archly.

"But..."

"But?"

"... Hai...." Then suddenly, something clicked in his head. "Oh no! Nanako-chan!! She'll cry if she can't get in tonight. What do we do?"

Saori's eyes widened, and she quickly pulled Toshiya up. "Go!! Hurry!! Get Nanako for me!! Go!!" She half pushed half shoved Toshiya towards the kitchen.

"Oh no. Nanako-chan!" Shinya's pretty face screwed up in confusion and fear, tears fell from his eyes. What was he going to do? He promised that he'd take care of Nanako for Kyo.

"Don't cry, it's okay." Die soothed and wiped Shinya's tears away and pulled him into a hug. Die could see Shinya's lower lip trembling, but the idea of kissing his tears away seemed just like a wish to Die.

"Daddy." Nanako's voice rang in from outside.

Saori smiled at Toshiya for a job well done, and quickly turned to Nanako. "Nanako, hurry up and tell your daddy that you wan to sleep with me tonight."

"Nanako-chan, I..." Shinya started.

"Daddy, Sao..."

"What?"

"Ano... I... I want to stay with Saori-oneechan tonight, is that okay?"

"Why?" This time, it was Die that asked.

"Ano...." Nanako looked at Saori.

The latter one scowled. "Damn you, Die!" She muttered under her breath and then turned to Nanako. "Tell him that you want some time alone with a woman."

"... I... need some time alone with... a... woman....?”

Saori beamed immediately.

"... Isn’t this..." Toshiya spoke up uncertainly.

Saori raised an eyebrow at him; he quickly shook his hands and looked away.

"Are you sure? I'm sorry, I'm stuck in here." Shinya called out again.

"I'm okay daddy.... Sao... I mean, I can stay with Saori-oneechan."

"Nanako-chan, go and call Saori-oneechan to open the door for us." Die ordered calmly.

Saori went cross eyed immediately.

"Ano..." Nanako looked like she was ready to cry.

"Tell him that I'm busy with Toshiya." Saori whispered.

"She... she's busy with Toshiya."

"With Toshiya? What does she need with Toshiya this late?" Die did not sound happy.

"Tell him it's womanly needs."

"........ Hmmmmm.... it's womanly needs....?”

Toshiya's eyes crossed and he felt as if he was going to faint. Die was going to kill him tomorrow... or whenever he got out.

"Oh my God, Nanako, when did you know these things?" Shinya's shocked voice rang out.

"Since Saori-sama's here with us..." Toshiya muttered, but only received a glare from Saori.

"Ano... I'm so sleepy, good night daddy." Nanako quickly declared the end of the conversation.

Saori smiled and gave her a thumb up. "Good girl! I'll play with you tonight."

Nanako smiled brightly and clutched at her hand.

"I think everything is well now, sa, let's go Toshiya." Saori stood up with one hand holding Nanako, and extended her other hand for Toshiya to take.

Inside the room, the two men waited and got nothing but silence.

".... why do I have a feeling that..."

"Yes?"

"No... No, it's nothing." Shinya just nodded and sat on his bed. He watched as Die went over to the window seat and sat down.

"Die-san, do you want to go to sleep?"

"No, I'm not sleepy yet, are you?"

Shinya shook his head immediately. "No, I'm fine." But his body thought otherwise as a yawn escaped his lips. He quickly covered his mouth and looked at Die with embarrassment. Die only chuckled and stood up.

"Alright, let's go to sleep then. Scoot in." He nodded towards the bed.

Shinya kept his head down as he slowly moved into the bed to allow Die space on the bed as well. The two of them laid there in silence until Die decided to break the silence.

"I've been thinking... about Nanako-chan... what happened to her mother? Your girlfriend... or wife?" Die asked quietly.

Shinya paused in his breathing and bit his lips. "She... she was... my girlfriend."

"If I may ask, what happened to her?"

"She.... she..."

"It's okay if you don't want to answer." Die quickly said.

"No, no." Shinya shook his head and scooted closer to Die. "It's okay; she... died a long time ago... after she gave birth to Nanako.... Nanako-chan never saw her..."

Die looked at Shinya's hidden face and wrapped an arm around him. "I'm sorry I asked, she must have meant a lot to you." He pulled him closer and placed his chin on top of his head. "It's okay; let's just get a good night's sleep."

Shinya nodded and closed his eyes; it was warm with Die's arms around him.

Die looked at his sleeping face and touched his cheek softly, then sighed and closed his eyes too. It was just one night, it was okay; he could deal with one night.

Just one night.

The next morning, the entire house was silent; Saori crept up to Shinya's room and pressed her ear against the door once again.

Inside the room, Die woke up before Shinya; he slowly rose as not to wake up the man beside him. He gingerly wrapped the blanket around Shinya and walked to try the door again, it was still locked. He sighed and leaned his head against the door, then looked at Shinya, whom was sleeping peacefully. He just realized how much he loved Shinya's lips, full and pouty.

Die quickly shook his head and scolded himself for having such thoughts. He had a girlfriend! He was straight. And besides, this guy he was having these thoughts of was his servant. He shouldn't be thinking about him like this.

Without another choice left to do, he sat on the floor and looked around the room. Soon, Shinya started to come to, he slowly opened his eyes and sat up to stretch, completely forgetting that there was another person with him in the same room. He let out a long sigh and then saw Die sitting there.

".... What are…?"

"Good morning."

"Ah. Sorry." Shinya bowed quickly and pulled the blanket up. "Good morning, Die-sama."

"I thought we agreed last night that you'd drop all that with me."

"Ah, right, sorry." He said tensely and looked at the door again.

"Why are you acting like this? Come on, loosen up Shinya, we're locked in the same room."

"Yeah... but... Die-san, why are we even locked in here in the same place?"

"I don't know... I'm guessing at something... I'm not sure about it though…"

"Yes? What do you think?"

Die narrowed his eyes into slits as he starred at the door again. "Saori's behind this."

"Saori-sama? No way, she's too nice to do this."

"Too nice?" Die glanced over at him and then snorted. "Shinya, you're very funny." He said sarcastically. "You sure don't know Saori."

"... She is your girlfriend... I'm sure you know her better than I do." Shinya looked down at nothing in particular.

"Yeah, well... I'm sure your girlfriend wasn't like this, huh?"

Shinya glanced at him and then quickly looked away. "Anou... Die-san, how did you and Saori-sama meet?"

"I met her in some club one day, and then well... we ended up together."

"Do... you love her?"

Die looked at him and then looked at the door again. "... Yeah... I guess I do."

At that comment, Saori slid down from the door a bit and glared at the wooden material. "What are you on??!! You SOOOO don't love me!!"

"Ah, Saori-sama, you're awake...." Saori pulled Toshiya down immediately and covered his mouth.

"Shhhhhh!! Lower your voice or else they'll hear you!!"

Toshiya's eyes widened and he lowered his voice. "Are we still doing this?"

"Doing what? We've not done anything!"

".... Not that way! Oh, and Nanako-chan said that she was hungry."

Saori sighed and brushed her hair. "Fine, I'll get her something to eat. Don't do anything I wouldn't do!" She then turned and walked down the stairs.

"..... What wouldn't you do?" Toshiya once again pressed his ear to the door and listened on.

"God... I'm so hungry!!" Toshiya heard Die's complaint.

"Ah, food." Toshiya quickly rushed down to the kitchen to grab something. The two of them needed to be fed.

"I'm sorry...." Shinya apologized and looked around the room. "I don't have anything in this room."

Just as he said that, they heard soft noises coming from the door, they looked at each other and Die quickly scrambled up. The door opened, and Toshiya came in with a tray of food. He placed it near the door and then went out again.

"Toshiya, how did the door...." Toshiya slammed the door shut in front of his face.

Die and Shinya both looked at the door with wide eyes.

"TOSHIYA!!!"

"... hai, Die-sama?"

"Why are you locking the door??!! Open up!!" Die kicked the door.

"Sorry, it's Saori-sama's orders."

"I'm the owner of this house!! I demand you to open up!!" Die banged on the door more.

"Why would Saori-sama want to do this?" Shinya muttered.

Saori poked her head upstairs and saw Toshiya's confused face, she quickly pulled him down. "What happened?"

"I don't know what happened to Die-sama, I only brought them food and then he became so aggressive."

Saori blinked and narrowed her eyes at him. "How did you give them food?"

"... I opened the door and then left the food on the floor and then left...."

"WHAT?"

"... What...?"

"What did Die say then?"

"He asked me why I'm locking the door, and I said it was your orders..."

"WHAAAAAAAAAAT?"

"Saori!! Open up!! You idiot!!"

"I'm dead... I'm so dead...." Saori's eyes crossed each other.

"Saori-sama....."

"Quick!! Hmmmm.... I...." Saori blinked, she didn't even know what to do.

Inside the room, Shinya covered his ears and shut his eyes tightly. "Die-san...."

"Sorry..." Die sighed heavily.

"Why are you so mad at Saori-sama?"

'"Why wouldn't I? She locked me in here the whole night! Why wouldn't I be mad?"

Shinya's face paled visibly, did Die regret spending the night in here so much? Yeah... well... he was the master and Shinya was only the servant. Die noticed the hurt on his face and then softened his tone.

"Shinya, I didn't mean it that way, I mean... it must have been uncomfortable for you as well."

"Iie..." Shinya shook his head. "I just don't understand why Saori-sama would do this; she's usually so nice...."

"She's not." Die scowled and turned towards the door.

Shinya looked at the ground and noticed the tray of food. "Anou... Die-san, do you want to eat? You said you were hungry."

"Yeah, let us. Toshiya brought enough for the both of us." Die waved a hand for him to come over then he remembered Shinya's foot injury. "Never mind, I'll bring it to you."

Shinya bit his lips in embarrassment. "I'm sorry Die-san; I should be the one bringing food to your bed, and not the other way around."

"None sense, you're hurt, how can I let someone that's hurt do work?" Die sat down beside Shinya and placed the tray between them.

"Anou.... Die-san, shouldn't we have forks and knives for pancakes?"

"... I guess we'll just have to eat it with our hands then." He scowled and picked a piece up. "You wait 'till we get out of here; I'm going to have a 'nice' little chat with Saori..."

Outside the door, Saori and Toshiya had their ears pressed against the door yet again.

"It's quieted down."

"But, Saori-sama..."

They then heard small giggles, and Die's frustrated sigh, then another set of giggles.

"They seem to be having a good time together." Toshiya said with relief.

"Yeah, but I want to see!!"

"But... but... that'd require me to open the door. Maybe we should...."

Saori looked at him and then debated within her mind. Should they? Should they not?

"Should we open it?"

"No! Not now! Die will kill me for sure."

"But... I thought you wanted to see."

Saori whimpered and bit her bottom lip. "Anou...."

More sounds came from the inside. "Look what you've done, Shinya." Die said with a laugh.

"Look how you've got syrup all over your face, Die-san." Shinya giggled.

"Ah, I want to see!" Saori whined.

"Okay, I'll open the door." He stood up and shoved his hand inside his pocket to get the key.

"Nooo!!" Saori yelled out quickly.

There was a moment of silence before Die spoke up.

"Did you just..." Die looked at the door suspiciously. "Saori, are you there?" He called out.

"Ye..." Saori quickly muffled Toshiya’s mouth.

"What the fuck!! Are you stupid?" Toshiya's widened with fear. Saori sighed and released him. "Sorry Totchi." She cuddled his head. "But don't you want to see Die and Shinya happy?"

"But... Die-sama doesn't sound all that happy..."

"He is! He's not showing it..." Saori concluded quickly.

"Is Die-sama gay....? I mean bi, since he's with you?"

"I'm sure he is!!" Saori beamed at him.

"What does bi mean?" Nanako's voice rang out behind them.

"Ah, that's Nanako's voice." Shinya's voice sounded relieved. "Honey, are you there?

"Daddy! You're still inside?"

"Still?" Shinya blinked. "You..."

"Nanako, who is there with you? DON'T LIE!" Die yelled out quickly.

"Anou...." Nanako looked at Saori and Toshiya.

"Nanako-chan!! I played with you last night!" Saori said quickly.

"Toshiya's here with me."

Toshiya felt like a deer caught in head lights.

"TOSHIYA!!"

"... hai Die-sama...?"

"I demand you to open this door, right now!"

"But... but..." He glanced at Saori, whom was shaking her head like crazy. "I can't....?"

"Why not!"

"Because… because… I don't have the key."

"Where is the key then?"

"With... Saori-sama...?"

"Toshiya, could you please get the key back from Saori-sama?" Shinya pleaded.

"Awwww... poor Shin-chan." Saori gushed.

"Poor daddy." Nanako followed suit.

"Poor them." Toshiya shook his head and prepared to open the door.

"Noooo!! You crazy!!"

"Saori, you there?"

Saori quickly covered her mouth.

"Saori!! I freaking just heard your voice!! Open this damn door!!"

"Please let me open this door, he'll kill us." Toshiya pleaded.

"He WILL kill us if you open it now."

"Why does Die-oniichan want to kill us?" Nanako inquired.

"Not us, just her." Toshiya pointed at Saori.

"Why does Onii-chan want to kill Onee-chan?"

"I don't know." Saori immediately faked a couple of sobs. "Nana-chan, isn't Die so mean? He wants to kill me!" She faked more sobs.

"Die-oniichan, you're so mean!!" Nanako yelled. "Onee-chan is crying because you're so mean to her."

"So she is there!" Die's voice sounded determined. "SAORI!!!"

"You're not supposed to tell him that." Saori hissed at Nanako.

".... I mean… no!! She isn't here!!"

Die just banged on the door more.

"Oh my Goddess, I'm going to die..."

"Open the door, right. Now!" He emphasized with loud bangs.

Saori felt like the world was going to collapse on her.

Toshiya took the key out and wanted to open the door, Saori quickly grabbed at it, in the midst of all this chaos, the key escaped from both of their hands and slid under the door.

"No… no... No...." Saori looked ready to faint.

"The key is underneath the door..."

"I'm going to send the key back, you better open up or else I'm going to smash the windows and go that way!"

The key was slid back. Toshiya quickly took the key and opened the door. "Totchi..." Saori whimpered.

Toshiya opened the door and revealed Die, whom was glaring at the door, and Shinya, whom was sitting on his bed. Nanako immediately ran to Shinya to give him a hug.

"Anou...." Saori chirped out and looked around, she was all too aware of Die's glare on her. She whimpered and hid behind Toshiya.

"Saori, come with me, I need to speak with you." Die said through gritted teeth. Then he turned and glared at Toshiya. "You! Go and do your work!" He spat out.

Reaching forward, he pulled Saori out from behind Toshiya and dragged her towards their bedroom.

"No! No!" Saori wailed and tried to grab onto Toshiya. "Toshiya!!!"

Toshiya quickly took a step back so she wouldn't catch him, then turned and ran off in a different direction.

"Ah!! Toshiya!! Toshiya!! And I gave you such a fun night last night!!"

Toshiya just ran faster.

With no problem, Die dragged Saori back into their room and slammed the door shut behind him. His hand was still gripping onto Saori's wrist tightly. Saori gulped and tried a smile. "Anou... Die-chan, Dai Dai, Die sweetie, you know how much I love you right? Die-chan...."

Die dragged her further into the room. Saori whimpered and closed her eyes. "TOSHIYAAAAAAAA!!"

"What's with you and Toshiya?" Die cut her off immediately.

".... Nothing..." Saori darted her eyes around the room and then thought of something. "Then what's with you and Shinya, huh?"

Die's eye twitched as they approached the bed. "You were the one that locked us in a room!! I have nothing with him!"

"I don't believe you! Speak!! What happened between you two last night?"

"Are you crazy?" Die shouted. He then pushed out his arm and threw her onto the bed. "Now you tell me why you did that! Why did you lock me in there! What was your intention?" He demanded standing at the edge of the bed.

"... Nothing..." Saori whimpered. "I made a mistake? I thought it was Toshiya's room." All she received was more silence. "Die-chan... I have work today...?"

"It's a Saturday."

"Hmmmm... overtime?"

"Your boss gave you a month of holiday because you went to that conference with Ayako."

"Anou... ah.... hmmmm...."

"Hurry up! Why did you do that?!"

"... I'm sorry Die-chan." Saori apologized quickly. "I promise I won't do it again!" Not on purpose at least.... Saori knelt up on the bed to try and hug Die.

"Sorry? What would sorry do to me?" Die pushed her back down again.

"Anou... it'll help you dim down your anger?" Saori asked hopefully.

"I don't want anything from you." He then turned and headed for the balcony. The door opened with a loud bang, and soon, Saori heard the familiar sounds of a lighter being opened and a smoke being lit.

The two of them were silent. Saori turned and looked at his back, then sighed and trotted over to him. "Die...." She leaned her forehead against his back and closed her eyes. "Die, I'm sorry, I really won't do it again... you know... I really... like you...." She felt her eyes twitch. Can't say love, can't say love, can't say love, must help Shin-chan.

Die sighed and turned around to pull her into a tight embrace. "I love you Saori, don't do that ever again."

"Of course." She hugged him back with no problem. "I promise." And crossed her fingers at the same time.

Die pulled back and she smiled at him, he leaned down to kiss her, but she quickly turned and pulled away from him. "Ooh, I just remembered something." She quickly walked into the bathroom and shut the door behind her.

"Saori....."

"I have plans with Aya-chan today." She then walked out of the bathroom and waved at him. "Don't be mean to anyone, okay?"

Die looked after her with a blank face and then dropped down onto the bed and sighed heavily, what the hell was wrong with her?

Saori walked down the stairs and made her way into the kitchen, she saw Toshiya and Shinya talking. "Shin-chan, you shouldn't be out of bed yet!" With that said, she clung onto Toshiya. "Totchi! Go out with me!"

"Work... I have work to do."

"Saori-sama, why did you lock us in last night?" Shinya asked.

"Eh? That was a mistake, mistake." Saori nodded her head with a straight face. "I'd never lock you in purposely." Shinya looked at her with doubtful eyes. "You know I love you Shin-chan, I wouldn't do anything to hurt you." She leaned forward and placed a kiss on his forehead. "Okay, now let's go Toshiya!" She grabbed Toshiya's hand pulled him away.

Inside the bedroom, Die rubbed his forehead and decided that he needed more sleep; this entire ordeal was killing his head. He closed his eyes and Shinya's face appeared in front of his eyes. He shook his head and looked around for the nearest cigarette pack.

"Die-oniichan."

"Is something wrong, Nanako?'

"Anou... Die-oniichan, why are you being so mean to onee-chan?"

"I'm not, she just did something wrong and I am not happy about what she did."

"What did she do?"

"....... Why don't you go and play?"

"What did she do?"

"... You saw her locking me in there."

"Where?"

"In the room."

"With daddy?"

"Yeah."

"You don't like daddy?"

"........"

Nanako looked like she was going to cry.

"No, no, of course I like him, I do, I do." ... Maybe a bit too much.

"Okay."

"But Nanako, I need to tell you something."

"Okay."

"Nanako, you should not lie again, okay? No matter what Saori tells you, don't lie again."

"Okay."

"Good girl."

"But, there was one part that I didn't lie about."

"Oh? What is it?"

"Saori-oneechan really was with Toshiya for the entire night!"

Die felt his eyes twitch.

"Anou, Die-oniichan, I have another question."

"... What is it?"

"What does Bi mean?"

"... Who told you that?"

"Onee-chan....? Toshiya was asking something about being... gay? And then... ah... Onee-chan is calling for me, bye bye onii-chan!"

Die looked after her with wide eyes, did the world just die?

Nanako ran down the stairs and Saori caught her with a smile.

"Are you going to play with me?" Nanako looked at her with large eyes.

"Of course, want to go out with Toshiya and me? We're going to meet Aya-oneechan."

"Hai."

"Let's go then."

The two of them left with a reluctant Toshiya following after them. The house returned to silence, Shinya dusted off the living room slowly, his ankle was still sore. On the mantle, he saw a picture of Die and Saori together. He touched the picture gently, and traced a finger down Die's face. After a moment of zoning out, he quickly snapped out of his reverie and withdrew his hand. Die was his employer; he should not be having feelings about Die like this...

He should not.

And besides, he had a girlfriend...

But Saori-sama... he recalled the happy face she made when she clung onto Toshiya this morning. Such behaviors were so commonly seen... but what about Die-sama... didn't she... did Die-sama know anything...

Die walked down stairs and saw Shinya standing there with a frown on his face. "Are you okay?"

"I... yes... I'm okay, thank you."

"Did you get that ice bag?"

"I forgot... but it's okay, I'll be fine, I need to finish my work, I'll... excuse me." Shinya mumbled something and wanted to get away from him.

"You don't need to work today; Toshiya can do that, you go and rest."

"But... Toshiya went out with Saori-sama." Shinya swore he saw a vein pop on Die's forehead.

"That girl...!"

"Ah, Die-san, please don't get mad at Saori-sama." Then he bit his lips and looked down. "She took Nanako with her too... I'm worried, I don't know what's going to happen... but since Toshiya's with them, I guess I can relax a bit..."

"Toshiya? Can you rely on Toshiya? You shouldn't have let Nanako go out with an idiot like her."

"... Did you just...." Shinya blinked. "Saori-sama will cry if she heard that..."

"She won't." He waved his hand and headed over to the sofa. "Anyways, don't do anything today; the house can go without servants for one day."

"But what about food?"

"I'll tell Saori to bring back something to eat." He dropped down onto the sofa and looked at the same picture that Shinya was just looking at a moment ago. What was going on? He didn't know if he could handle anymore...

Little did he know what Saori was planning in a cafe somewhere else in town...

"Aya-oneechan!!" Nanako clung onto her legs. Ayako smiled and patted her head.

"Nana-chan, I missed you!"

Saori beamed and linked an arm through Toshiya's and grabbed onto Nanako's hand. "Don't we look like a happy family?"

"You do, you do!" Ayako nodded eagerly.

Toshiya felt his smile freeze, thankfully Saori let go of him and Nanako sat down beside Ayako while Saori sat across them. Toshiya stood beside the table. "What are you doing? Sit down."

"Anou... I...."

"Sit!" Saori reached out and pulled him down beside her, then waved over a waitress. "Get me a cup of cappuccino, and a cup of chocolate milk for the little girl, and..." She looked towards Toshiya.

"Ah, it's okay, I don't want anything."

"And a cup of fruit shake for him." She turned to Ayako. "What do you want?"

"Same as you."

Saori looked up at the waitress, whom nodded and bowed to them before leaving the table. Then there was a long silence, where Nanako looked around the place and noticed a park outside the shop and the empty swings. Toshiya sat there rigidly and glanced down at the table awkwardly. Ayako smiled and looked at Saori. "Toshiya is so shy today, what's wrong?"

"Awwww, Totchi's always shy." She wrapped an arm around his shoulders. Toshiya went even tenser, if that was possible. "See! He'll even blush when I do this." She leaned forward and placed a kiss on his cheek. Toshiya's eyes widened even more.

Ayako giggled and looked at Saori again. "How are you and Die-kun? What did you want to talk to me about?"

"Oh! I have proof that Die is bi!"

"Oh, how?"

"Oh come on, he totally wants Shin-chan! And being the wonderful girlfriend I am, I accidentally locked them in the same room last night." Saori gave a victory sign. Nanako blinked up at Saori with large eyes, she quickly coughed and looked at Toshiya. "Totchi, why don't you take Nana-chan to the swings? Come back soon."

Toshiya nodded and left with Nanako, whom was still blinking at Saori with large eyes.

"So that's accomplished, what do you think I should do now Aya-chan? Should I drug them and then dump them onto the same bed?"

"Yes, yes, that's a good idea! I always thought that Die-kun was gay! He has that look to him!"

"... He's BI!! I'm still his girlfriend!"

"Yes, oh right, sure."

"But this morning, when they got out, Die was so mad at me."

"Awwwww... I'm sure he wasn't that mad, he's very nice." She then snapped her fingers and looked at Saori. "I'll come with you today and sleep over, and then we'll lock them together again."

"That's a good idea... although; let's try something other than locking... I kinda... promised Die I wouldn't do that again... "

"Let's say... hmmm... that I want to sleep with you, so we can see if Die-kun will go to Shinya's room or not."

"... Highly doubt it, Die's quite slow."

"Then let's just lock them together!!!"

"What's with you and locking doors?" Saori looked at her weirdly.

"You think the jealousy trick will work?"

"What if I stopped clinging onto Toshiya and cling onto Shinya instead? Do you think Die will get jealous?"

"He would if he has feelings for Shinya."

"So... operation jealousy will be used tonight?"

"Try it, there will be no harm. If it doesn't work, we must lock them again!"

"I'm not sure how well the locking will go... but that'll be our last resort."

"Oh, how about hurting Shinya? And see how Die-kun will react."

"You want me to hurt Shin-chan?" Saori looked at her weirdly again. "I... kinda... did last night... I made him twist his ankle..."

The waitress appeared and placed their orders on the table, both women nodded their thanks and Saori turned to wave at Toshiya and Nanako to signal for them to come back.

"You did? How did he react?"

"I made Die carry Shin into his room, and that's how we locked the door."

The door jingled as Toshiya and Nanako came back through again. Nanako bounced up to the table and grabbed her drink. "I love chocolate milk."

Toshiya walked closer slowly and looked at Saori with question. “Sit! Why are you standing there?" Toshiya sat down obediently. "Now drink this. It's good for you skin."

"Really?" Ayako perked up and looked at the glassed content.

"Yes, see Toshiya has really nice skin." Saori caressed Toshiya's face. "See!"

"Really?" Ayako reached forward and touched his face as well. "You're right, it IS really nice."

Toshiya sat there with them rubbing his face.

"I bet Shinya has nice skin too." Ayako concluded.

"Daddy takes good care of his hair and skin."

"Men and their secrets." Saori rolled her eyes.

"So, are you going to do it today?" Ayako questioned Saori.

"Do what?" Nanako asked.

"Play with you." Saori lied with a smile and then turned to face Ayako. "Of course I will do it today; I need to work as fast as possible." She then sighed heavily. "I need to do it before Die says he loves me again..."

"Anout... isn't that..."

"Shhh, be a nice boy and be quiet for now." Saori clamped a hand over Toshiya's mouth.

"You must make Die hate you so he can love him."

"Him...? How can Die-oniichan love another man? Daddy said that men should love women and women should love men, he didn't say that men can love other men..." Nanako pouted.

"....... He's straight?" Ayako looked at Saori.

"He CANNOT be!"

"Saori, that's highly possible! He has a daughter!"

"She's not...."

"Not...?" Three pair of eyes looked at her eagerly.

"Not... that sure about it, don't worry about it, I'll get to the bottom of this."

"Daddy said that he loves mommy, he showed me a picture of her, and she is very pretty!"

".... Sao, your plans are going to fail...." Ayako announced.

Saori fumed silently and stood up. "I want to go home now! I don't care! I will make it work!"

"Can I come with you?"

"If you want!" She fumed and got out of the booth. "I will find a way to work!" She felt something trip her leg, she blinked and dropped down. Then she blinked and looked up. "Owie, my leg."

The four of them looked at each other before Ayako caught on.

"Toshiya, what are you waiting for? You must carry her home, how could she walk with her leg hurting?"

"Ah... hai...." Toshiya blinked and bent down to pick her up.

"Good boy. Now let's go home." Saori suddenly felt that her anger was lifted within a second.

In the house, Shinya was combing his hair after a shower. He looked at himself in the mirror and frowned. He placed the comb down and touched his face softly. Die would never look at him, he had a girlfriend whom was better and prettier than him... and Die was clearly not gay... and was clearly very straight, and he....

"Daddy! We're back!"

Shinya quickly wiped at his eyes and got out of his room to greet them, his hands clutched at the bathrobe. He saw Nanako at the front holding a woman's hand and Toshiya was behind them carrying a very happy looking Saori, whom immediately studied him when she saw him looking. Shinya blinked and took a step forward. Then he remembered something and quickly turned around, he was still in his bathrobe.

"I'm sorry, let me change first."

"Wait! Let me help you!" Saori jumped out of Toshiya's arms and ran after him.

".... I thought she hurt her leg...." Toshiya mumbled.

".... You must have a magical touch..." Ayako nodded with a sweat drop at the back of her head.

Shinya tried to close the door behind him as quickly as he could, but Saori managed to slip in and shut the door behind her. "I... I need to change..."

"I know! Your ankle is still injured, let me help you!" She moved to grab at his bathrobe, Shinya pulled back quickly. "Ah, come on sweetie, I won't hurt you. I'll be very gentle." She beamed at him.

"... You look scary..."

Saori raised an eyebrow and reached forward again, this time Shinya moved to the side and let out a scream. Saori turned around and faced him, the two of them starred at each other. Shinya felt around for the door knob, and when he turned it, he ran straight into Die.

Die steadied him and looked at the two of them, Shinya was clutching onto his half opened bathrobe. "What… what are you two doing?"

Shinya moved away from him quickly and blushed heavily. "Sorry, Die-san..."

"I only wanted to help." Saori pouted.

"Help with what?"

"Noth..."

"Help him change." Saori smiled.

Die took in a deep breath and looked at Saori with stern eyes. "Saori, will you please leave him alone! You're really bothering him... and me! When are you going to grown up! You're acting childish, even Nanako does not act like you!"

Saori looked at him in surprise; she never knew that she'd be able to provoke him so much. Numbly, she nodded and walked past them. "Sorry..."

Die sighed and ran a hand through his hair after she left.

"I'm sorry."

"It's not you."

"Daddy...." Nanako edged towards them slowly.

"Ah, sweetie, did you have fun?"

"Hai! Onee-chan bought a lot of stuff for me! And Aya-oneechan came with me too!"

Shinya glanced up at Die uncertainly. "Maybe I should apologize to her..."

"Don't, you didn't do anything wrong."

"But... she's so nice to Nanako and me... She was only trying to help me... but I...."

"Don't worry about it, go change. And then try to get some sleep."

"... Can I go and see Saori-sama later? I'm worried that she'll cry."

"She won't, don't worry about her." He patted Shinya shoulders before turning to leave.

Shinya looked after him and sighed, he needed to at least talk to her. Maybe tomorrow, it will be better. Slowly, he changed into his pajamas and lay down on his bed. He didn't know when he drifted off to sleep, but he must have because he was shaken awake by Saori.

"Saori-sama?"

"Sorry to wake you up, but I wanted to apologize for earlier..."

"No, I must apologize to you for rising my voice, I'm sorry."

"No problem, don't worry about it. Anyways, I'm going to go away for a couple of days. So you be careful yourself. If you get scared, go sleep with Die, okay?" She patted his head comfortingly.

"... Anou... where is Nanako-chan?" He looked around.

"She's sleeping in my room. Anyways, I'm going to get going now." She stood up and then remembered something. "Oh, tell Toshiya that I will miss him very much, and that I'll be at Aya-chan's house if he needs me. Bye bye." She waved at him.

"What? What about Die-san then?" Shinya struggled to sit up.

Saori paused and looked down. "... Maybe it's better if we both take a break from each other for a while."

"... Are you having a fight with Die-san because of me? I'm sorry Saori-sama..."

"No, no, we don't have fights, we just do... me-not-talking-to-him... hahaha... anyways, good night Shin-chan, sweet dreams...."
