I'm a senior at The University of Texas at Austin majoring in Geography. I'm specializing in Weather & Climate and minoring in Technology, Literacy, & Culture. After graduation from UT in May 2003, I plan on getting my Broadcast Meteorology Certificate from Mississippi State University, and getting a job at a TV station in Abilene. I was raised in Breckenridge, a town of about 5500 people in North Central Texas. My family is very important to me. My parents live in Breckenridge and my brother, Van, lives an hour away--in Abilene. He and his wife, Jenny, just gave birth to their first child, a boy. Evan James was born on 08 AUG, and we are all so proud of him. The only thing more important than my family is my girlfriend Abby. We've been together since 28 DEC 1999 and I've been happy ever since. She never ceases to amaze me. She is the reason I get up in the mornings. I don't know how she manages to put up with me and love me. I love her more than anything I've ever cared about. She is my life.
