‘Lynn’ keeps a lithe trim in perfect symmetry on his 6’ 3” form, near obsessive over his appearance. His black hair is kept cropped short and well kept, much like his manicured nails. His skin is pale but still has much of the darker pigment from his Egyptian lineage giving him a rather exotic look despite the cold, near colorless eyes. Lynn is probably one of the rare vampires that actually has to wear glasses when reading and his vision lacking compared to other vampires. When a young human boy, he had lost much of his vision due to a fire and though the burn scars have healed, he still has two constant reminders. Of course, when you’re a prestige vampire, you hardly let things like that bring you down but instead build on it. Keeping up with his own fashion, his spectacles- not glasses mind you- are rimless and thin, the frame black. Appearances make the first impressions after all.
His clothes still contain heavy influence from the Victorian ages but add a modern flair to it. Much of his formal attire looked as though it could have walked out from the book Pride and Prejudice with a few modern twists. Such as most of his wardrobe, Lynn owns few articles that are not considered ‘dressy’ or fashionable. He’s very conscious about his appearance and again, fashion, so pays close attention to such things. Even his casual is what most would consider ‘Sunday Clothes’ or would wear to a nice dinner party. Try to tell him that though and you might as well be arguing with a brick wall. Very little of his dress actually reflect on his Egyptian heritage, same with the few decorative gems he wears. On his left hand, ritually placed on his ring finger is his age-old wedding band of simple design.
About
He’s a business man though and is quick to close a deal if it benefits him, Lynn often trying to manipulate situations to where he can’t lose but only win. With an icy touch that feels as though it could freeze the soul, Makalani doesn’t take betrayal lightly but neither does he rain all hell down on it either. After all, how can you ruin a man who has all eternity to build himself back up? And building is something he is an expert at. Back in time to his humble roots, Makalani wasn’t a lord or prince, not even a warrior. He was a simple carpenter just making a living. Now he’s rich and quite a power in the electronic world. What a flip of careers, no? Once he decides he likes something, Lynn is determined and stubborn to a fault, reckless with his reputation and wealth since in his eyes, he has nothing to lose. Besides, it’s not like he’s foolish enough to band all his wealth with just one company. Oh no, not him. If you’re smart, you buy stock in several and even then have a back up plan. Hard to believe that the man you see reading in the park under those lights happens to also be Mr. ‘Bastardy’ Makalani Menes. That’s right, he takes pleasure in simple things too. Truth is, Lynn would rather be alone with himself or maybe a handful of his own kind rather than mingle with humans or Lunars. Too bad this town was crawling with both. A die-hard bookworm, he pounces on the chance to increase his personal library that NO ONE is allowed to touch save himself. And to reiterate that point, the room is locked and the key kept close to his heart in his shirt pocket. Remember boys and girls, if you have a book he wants, it’s best to hand it over without a fuss or you might wind up dead in the morning. Thank you and have a nice night!
Skills and Powers
As probably could be expected, Makalani developed incredible strength by just living and also can manipulate people's passions or thoughts. He has some other powers too but Lynn relies more on his ability to persuade and other tricks up his sleeve that any mere human could do also rather than his magic.
