This is my 1989 VN1500A. In the VROC this model is know as a BUBF, Butt Ugly But it's Fast. When I bought the bike, in Aug. of 1998, it had a little less than 14k miles on it. Since then it has 17,500 and counting. I have added a set of Willie and Max saddle bags and a W&M toolbag. I also added the fringes on the hand grips and levers. The seat is a modified stock seat. A local shop recoverd the seat and added 2 inchs to the pillon to make it more comfortable for Cyndi.
When I got the Vulcan it had aftermarket pipes on it. I don't know what brand they are, but they do have a very nice sound to them. The bike also came with a small Fire and Steel Windshield, which I recently took off. It's too small for my tastes and I think the bike looks better without it. Eventually I will get a larger windshield, but for now I will enjoy riding without one.
