Mr.

How well he, and others of the earliest settlers, accomplished this purpose can readily be seen to the rapid strides which have already been made in the growth of Jackson County during the past, and the bright propects which seem to mark its future.
The deceased held many prominent positions which he filled with eminent satisfaction to all. He was elected County Judge for several succesive terms, and presided in able and honorable manner.
For the past few years of his life has been devoted to the cause of Christ, having occupied the pulpit of the
FREE WILL BAPTIST CHURCH.. During his long experience as a minister of the Gospel, he never said aught to offend or even ruffle the feelings of his congregation, but went on in the event tenor of his way spreading the doctrines of christianity in his forcible and logical manner.
In the daily walks of his life he was kind and benevolent; in politics he was a staunch supporter of the democratic faith. The funeral services were held at Grange Hall, in Somerset Township, the

After a long life of usefulness,
Judge Bradley has passed to another sphere, where eternal joy and happiness await him.
