He married Sarah J.Short August 10,1852 in,Perry,il.daughter of Jacob Short and Elizabeth Merrill,she was born January 29,1833,in,,ill.amd died September 05,1892 and Burried,Jackson,ill.Burried Looney Springs Cem.

Notes for William Bradley;
  Known as "Black Bill" due to his dark complexion,compared to other family members who were fair skinned and had lighter hair color. This was reported by grandson-in-law- Archie Williams who remembers "Black Bill"
quite well, ( I Vicky Bradley Anderson want to ad we all have Black hair,dark skin,piercing black eyes.)

Per records compiled by Elizabeth Elia Spurgeon,he was also known as "Judge".

His father,Richard A.Bradley is reported to have been called "Black Dick"also because of his dark complexion.This information is from an earlier Jackson Co.residents,memories recorded on the Jackson Co.il.web site. Emily Josephine Bradley (William,Richard,Joshua,Henry,Henry,Francis,) was born May 30,1855 in,ill. and died January 22,1932.She married Francis Marion Jenkins,December 11,1873 in,Jackson,ill.,son of Hiram Jenkins and Juliet Threlkel.He was born July 08,1853 in,ill. and died september 10,1940 in Lakeland,Polk,FL.

Notes for Francis Marion Jenkins;
Known to family and friends as "Marion",he was a carpenter by trade. He constructed a cedar chest for his grandaughter (Norma Marion Josephine Jenkins) for her 6th birthday. It is still in use by her daughter Norma Lois in 1990. His grandaughter was the apple of his and Emily`s eye..Her two middle names were from her grandparents middle names.

His favorite sweet was chocolate covered cherries(Now I know were I get that from,Vicky Ha ha.)
Marion died in the carpenters home in Florida and is believed to be buried there.
