The Drought is Over!

The Warriors finished their longest losing with a 28 - 4 win over the Manly Sea Eagles at the Brookvale Oval. The game was a power struggle for the first 50 minutes with neither team stamping any real authority on the match.

Manly gave away possession in favour of pinning the warriors in their own half by kicking early in their sets deep into warriors territory.  And for a while it subdue the warriors attack, but could not follow on with a successful attack of their own.

Eventually the Warriors opened the floodgates a a quick succession of tries gave them a formidable lead. There were many pluses to take from the game one of which was the great performances from Up and coming talent Epilahami Luaki. Luaki was prominent in both attack and defence he showing he is not content to sit back and wait for senior players lead the way.

Also Lauititi was his old self breaking through the Manly defence over and over. Finally Stacey Jones had the best kicking game this year getting a forty twenty and coming within a meter of doing so twice.
