The warriors will kick off there new campaign for the ever elusive and most coveted Telstra Cup against old rivals The Brisbane Bronco's in an away game.

"Both the Knights and the Warriors have had their home games held back to allow for block-buster opening days as they undergo major ground improvements" (NRL.com, 2003).

The warriors face a tough end of season line-up. They will have to play such the difficult prospect of facing the Roosters, Bulldogs, Broncos,  Raiders, Dragons and Eels in the race towards the semi's. 

Daniel Anderson has stated that he is pleased with the draw as he believes the tough final run will be the best preparation his side could have if they hope to be ready for the semi's.
