VOFSAA is an organization dedicated to offering support for persons adjudicated and found not guilty of sexual abuse charges.  Initially through this web page, e-mail, and the postal service [eventually forum(s), and chat group(s)], VOFSAA hopes to bring together people falsely accused of sexual abuse.  It will offer comfort, support, and hopefully some useful advice.

VOFSAA dedicates itself to changing the way law enforcement handles sexual abuse accusations.  It is the intention of this organization to form a "grass root lobby."  This lobby will petition the federal, state, and local governments to enact minimum standards of procedure for the handling of sexual abuse cases.  These standards will protect the falsely accused.  More importantly these standards will give children who are actually sexually abused a better chance of having their abuser found guilty, punished, and perhaps moved towards psychological treatment.

VOFSAA dedicates itself to education.  It will teach children, parents, educators, and others about sexual abuse.  It will teach about healing and self-esteem.  It will teach about the way that many sexual abuse cases are mishandled.  It will teach about properly conducting a sexual abuse investigation.  Sexual abuse is a horrible ordeal to go through.  I am speaking not as an "expert" but as a victim of sexual abuse.  I wish to make it perfectly clear that the intent of this organization is not to protect people who abuse children.  To the contrary, it is to here to PROTECT CHILDREN!  I ask everyone to consider for a moment the horrible effects a false accusation of sexual abuse causes.  It has many far-reaching consequences.
