after the speech Comrade RedLiberator arrived back from his
trip to the People’s Republic of China. With Cromien promising
to return in September and comrade Kuralyov saying he would
consider it ‘in a few weeks’ the Central Committee may soon
be complete for the first time in months. Full text
of speech: Greetings
friends and associates, I am suggesting for the progress of
our nation that we the people of Baracao begin the process of
building a model Socialist economy, currently our great leaders
are off far and wide gathering first hand information on the
status of real life Communist nations. Comrade Red
Liberator is at this very moment on a diplomatic mission in
the Peoples Republic of CHina, and soon when he and comrade
Kuralyov return, as well when I am able to return from the military
we will have a full leadership reunification and start the process
of projects to come. When Baracao
was liberated we set a mandate to create a socialist economy
but with the process of restructuring and the influences of
outside forces we have been routed. Now only
weeks away Baracao will make a great leap forward in all levels
of Micronationalsim, Economics, Politics, Defence, Culture and
the spread of Socialist freedom across micron! plans are in
the works at this moment to ensure good comrades from nations
near and far will unite to bring a Campaign of freedom and enlightenment. Empirialists
be warned your days are numbered. Letter

Following
the recent resignation of Comrades Kuralyov and Andropov from
the Defence ministry and Foreign ministry respectively, the
Chairman announced the appointment of Comrade ElDorni as Minister
of the Exterior and Comrade Calif El Hazzad as the new Commandante
of the MR - EP. Both are recent arrivals in Baracăo but have
been warmly welcomed and already occupy some of the most senior
positions in the nation. While ElDorni was appointed too late
to oversee the formation of the Alliance of Free States he will
be left to maintain friendly relations with the Republics allies.
On the other hand Calif should look forward to leading the attack
on Imperialism whenever it shows its ugly head. We congratulate
them both.

Conrad
Cromien, one of the leaders of the Baracăoan revolution and
founding member of the NCP, has promised to return to the nation
shortly and that when he does, along with the other original
revolutionaries, Baracăo will be spurred on to new levels of
greatness. In an address made in La Plaza del Revolucion, Comrade
Cromien announced,

Dear
Fidel...
Very soon Fidel Castro will be finding a letter
on his desk. In between communications from famous heads of
state and urgent revolutionary business he will be introduced
to the people of Baracăo! The government has dispatched a letter
to the famous Cuban revolutionary stating who we are, what we
do and our support for the Cuban revolution. Whether Fidel replies
is another matter. If he does you can be sure you’ll find out
about it.

The
Republic of Baracăo, Micronation of Pacary and Republic of Aerlig
have signed a treaty in Aerlig creating the Alliance of Free
States. The alliance allows for mutual defence and aid between
the nations and expresses a desire to work together. Based in
Baracăo itself, the alliance brings together three powerful
micronations and guarantees each security and protection. The
treaty represents a high point in Baracăo’s ever growing foreign
affairs and shows what can be achieved through cooperation and
friendship.

Last
Tuesday, elements of the rogue state of Freenesia launched an
attack on the Free Republic of Tymaria. Using a weapon designed
to flood the forums with graphic pornography, the so-called
‘Fag bomb’ was denoted by Bobby, allegedly without permission
from Freenesian leader Locke. What ensued was a rather embarrassing
excuse for a war. The bomb failed to cause any real damage,
Tymaria didn’t respond and the perpetrator was swiftly expelled.
Freenesia then surrendered to Tymaria and joined the Imperium
of Menelmacar after quite rightly being called a ‘poisoned chalice’
and refused permission to become a Palatinate in Treesia. While
you may have missed the war if you blinked, it did bring about
an end to Freenesia and we should all be thankful for it.

The
imperialist nation of Menelmacar has been flexing its muscles
this week with Freenesia being ‘eaten’ (as they call swallowing
up independent nations), and it is now looking towards bringing
the whole ‘Apollo Foundation’ under its control (without apparently
consulting anybody who might be using the land). The ‘Imperium’
is growing ever bolder in its designs and makes no secret of
its desire to expand. Following on from the article outlawing
communism and the communist party in its constitution, the government
has been making aggressive moves towards the Leftist Alliance
and taking steps to crush internal dissent. It seems that anything
which isn’t ‘Apollonian culture’ (your guess is as good as ours)
isn’t welcome in the place ‘where freedom reigns’. With the
whole establishment against them, those with differing opinions
in Menelmacar may have to find ways other than the ballot box
to advance their aims.

Grand
Vizier Tahmaseb has been appointed Babkhan regent as Shah Ardashir
goes of to savour all the excitement of the Channel Islands
and England’s south coast. Apart from a threat to ‘hang the
government from the lampposts’, things seem to be proceeding
quite peacefully – at least as far as that is possible in Babkha.
Baracăoans living on the border with Babkha are keeping to themselves
for fear of what will happen with ‘the sane one’ away for a
week.

The
Secretary-General of Varja has proposed that his nation become
a province of Baracăo. Addressing the Central Committee he said
he was ready to ‘give Socialism a fair chance’ and presented
the ‘Varjan Provincilition Act’ for voting. Varja has recently
been put under pressure by Menelmacar and its leader to abandon
the socialist path and convert to bourgeois democracy. This
move should secure the states future and make sure that it keeps
on a strictly red path.
