Car Personalities
| Sometimes what you drive
speak volume of the type of person you are. No, its not about stereo-typing people based
on what they drive. Its about the kind of impression you make when you drive what you
drive. Lets take a look at some of the common wheels in singapore. Hyundai Matrix This is a family man. He plans ahead. He knows the matrix is a budget buy and someday, when he has 4 kids, an elderly mum to look after and a baby chair to cramp in the matrix will prove its worth. Toyota Camry, Hoda Accord He is an executive and his pay is good. Thats why he can afford the Camry or the Accord. But he is tight on budget as well. He saved up for a long time just to buy his car. Well, if he was really that well payed, he would be driving the BMW 320i / 520i This car is a petrol buffalo. Even when COE was at its lowest, it cost him a hefty 120k (or 150k for the 520i). This guy is either a rich brat (his mom bought him the car for birthday present) or he is one of those who drives to shenton way for work everyday despite the ERP. Mercedes E200, Mercedes E-Class He is/was a business man. It doesn't matter what his business is. The bottom line, his annual income far exceeds any banking executives. He may be one of those owners of an SME housed at the nearby JTC or he may be selling top grade ba cou mee at macpherson food centre. Tuscani/ Toyota Celica Dude. If you ain't that rich, don't try to act like you are rich by driving a "sports car". They ain't. You know it the moment you took over the keys from Tan Cheong Motor that the car ain't worth the money. Everything about it is misses the marl, the only reason you bought it was that it look like a expensive sports car and you can't afford one. Else you would have bought The Nissan Z or the BMW Z4 or the Mercedes CLK They are the cream of the crop for most singaporeans. Lotus and Ferrari are a different story. You are establish and up the career ladder, yeah sporty and young at heart. Thats why you are driving the Nissan Z. Else, you are just an ang moh. Subaru WRX wz* If the car has got orange and blue sticker all over it; you can ehar from teh exhaust that the engine has been zhng and that the speed limiter has obviously been removed; the car is also zhnged with red and blue flash light. Dude. Don't mess with this guy. He belongs to one of the largest road gang in singapore. The matha. Stay clear of him. Mitsubishi Evolution IX / Lancer/ Mazda 6/ Toyota Corolla Vios/ Altis wz* Yeah, common right? As long as it is wz (with zhng) chances are he is a fanatic and trend follower after ther ecent Initial D hype. 7 out of 10 of them are regular specialist of the SAF. Don't believe? Next time go and ask them. Hyudai Accent wz Yeah this guy is a no brainer. Hyundai also want to zhng. Primary it looks even more ugly wz. On top of that its not worth the money. The car just ain't road worthy. It can't speed or whatsoever. So, zhng for what. Toyota Crown This guy is a number one road pest. He is the cause of 70% of road accidents in singapore. He stops as and when he likes, wherever he deems fit. Be half a second slow in moving off the traffic light and he will honk at you. Just ignore him, you are a man driving the The new Honda Civic This guy knows his stuff and the meaning of value for money. The new Honda civic is a masculine beast which looks much like the Integra if not fiercer. Most people won't zhng the civic. The original look is hot enough. Unlike the Picanto E200 or Honda 323 Eh dude!! Wake up your idea. What do you think you are doing?!! |
