Guys often wonder what there is for girls to shop for. The one thing we know but we never understood-clothes. In this entry, we interviewed independent fashion consultant Thom. He shared with us some of his views on looking good and feeling good.

Thom, you have been describe by many as someone with a unique fashion sense, tell us about it?

tHoM says:
actualli i dun think i am any one special...also anyone who has a unique fashion sense...I feel fashion is actually being yourself.

Kelvin says:
Great!

tHoM says:
Its actually wearing clothes which you feel comfortable with...but though simple, it must look presentable.Having a great fashion sense is not about chasing up with fashion
or being up to date.

Kelvin says:
so what is your take on being stylish?

tHoM says:
Being stylish is having the mind to see which type of clothes fits you the best, to be able to see which clothes covers up your ugly spots and brings out the best part of you

Kelvin says:
Something more general here, what do you normally wear when you hang out?

tHoM says:
polo-T and jeans...not too formal and not to informal, just right.

Kelvin says:
What brands do you frequent?

tHoM says:
ohhh.... brands are not that important to me. It's the design and whether it fits my body.But, i love Polo Ralph and jeans frm S&k-those low cut and slim straight

Kelvin says:
On T-shirt, what do you normally go for? Flashy or plain white and simple?

tHoM says:
I am tan, so i dun normally go for white. It would be too contrasting. I usually go for t shirts which r of a darker shades and of colours that are matching.

Kelvin says:
We do know some guys are branded as boring with their choice of T-shirts/ Shirts. How do you go about that?

tHoM says:
Actually I feel lots of people mind how others look at them and are afraid of wearing clothes which r uncommon...they are afraid they might be categorized as weird. But i dun see it this way. I feel I just want to be a little more unique...
a little more special,a little more original;not copying what other people are wearing.Having my own style and sense of fasion.

Kelvin says:
Nice. For the sake of those guys are there who are still stuck with Baleno, U2 and Giodano, can you recommend some places to shop for good clothings?

tHoM says:
actualli these shops are too common. I would suggesting going to POA(People of asia). For people who like simple and nice clothes, they can try out FCUK. Of course the best Polo-T you can get is Polo Ralph
For sports wear or should I call it sports fashion...Adidas is the best. Shoes, it is definitely converse.

Kelvin says:

Be yourself...find your own sense of fashion and be original.
