Interior
This is a shot of the front speaker pods in raw form.  The blue seen is a fleece material found at any local fabric store.  The wanted shape is created and then the fleece is stretched over the top and covered with fibreglass resin.  I backed that up with more resin, sawdust and resin, and undercoating material.
These are the fiberglass speaker pods that reside in the kickpanels.  One is covered and one is uncovered.  They are different sizes because the cloth covered one clears the subbox enclosure.  They are about 3/8 of an inch thick and are sprayed internally with undercoating.  I had to cut ports in the back.
This is just below the above shot.  It shows the bus fan motor with ducting to the rear under the luggage tray.  The white PVC runs from the top of the heater duct splitter to an arch under the rear window in a Porsche 356B style.  (Do you love my high quality hose clamp-duct tape?)
The hood has gas shocks.  From top,a Soundstream 805 amp mounted on the sub box, flanked by MB Quart Q x-overs.  Below the PPI DEQ 230 eq & below that my wiper washer resevoir (Japanese, with motor & sensor built in), and the all important Vise-Grips,,jack, coveralls, and gas.
Close-up show the expensive goodies.  The amp and eq are mounted permanently but the crossovers are just one-screwed in place.  There is a cover that covers the hole front, only exposing the amp top, eq face, and crossover tops.  Look for that pic elsewhere.
This is the custom shift lever I am building with the help of Micheal Humphreys.  He's a mold builder for injection molding and his abilities in the machining area are really implressive.  This is not complete yet, it is in the try-in stage.  As you can see, it uses a stock shift lever bottom, while the rest is 6061 Aluminum.  The actual knob is something I bought awhile back and is from a German company I can't remember the name of.  The two things I wanted to achieve with it was a better position for shifting, not having to lean forward to shift,  and also look beefy and modern.  I think I have succeeded, but we will see once it is in.
