More1990 Jetta
This set of pics show the progression from stock to slammed. First, bone stock with the teardrop alloys. Next, new rolling stock in the form of 16" MSW Type 55C, which, unfortunately, are discontinued. If anyone has any they may want to sell, let me know. They are wrapped in 205/40/16 BF Goodrich Euro TA's. Currently I have Nitto NT450 Extremes. Lastly, the addition of Neuspeed Sport springs and Bilstein Sport shocks. I had to cut a coil off of the front to even out the ride level. It was about 2 cm higher on the front and very noticable. I am well aware of the fact the cutting totally messes with the spring rate but I really didn't have an option. The rear was already set to the highest perch. The ride is fine and it looks so much better. To keep it on the ground, it has Neuspeed sway bars front and rear.
The motor is stock with the exception of:
-Neuspeed 270 Cam
-ABD K&N filter
-Brospeed Header
-ABD Ignition wires
-AMS Digifant chip (wow!)
-Techtonics 2.25" exhaust
It currently (08/05/00) has 280k Km so it is getting a 2.0L tall block with 15k miles on it, Velocity ported and polished heads, new lifters, new tranny with Quaife diff, +.
