1960 saw the contest held in Britain for the first time, and we witnessed the first appearance of Eurovision Queen Katie Boyle. The UK performer Bryan Johnson was the brother of 1959 entrant Teddy Johnson, and he aslo gained a second place. Continuing the relatives theme, French performer Jacueline Boyer, was the daughter of Jacques Pills, who sang for France the previous year.
