32 years after winning the first ever Eurovision Song Contest, Switzerland were victorios again, with a little known French Canadian performer called Celine Dion. She one by one point from the United Kingdom, even though the United Kingdom had compiled a 15 point lead only 3 juries earlier, and so the career of Celine Dion was launched. It was also the first time Turkey had given Greece any points at all, although Greece did not return the compliment.
