WINNING SONG TITLE PERFORMER COUNTRY COMPOSERS
Rock Me Riva Yugoslavia Rajko Dujmic & Stevo Cvikic

After competing last in 1988, Yugoslavia were again drawn last, and this time made the singing order work to their advantage. They entered a run of the mill, rock/pop, energetic song, and it took the juries by storm. Yugoslavia led the voting from the third jury, and never had any real competition. Although they won with ease, their winning score of just 137 votes, is the lowest ever under the new system, representing just 54.4% of the vote.
