1. Locate the direction of the house (Zhuo3 xiang4), using the di4 pan2

2. Identify the ming4 gua of the owner of the premise/house.

3. Compare the direction of the house against the ming4 gua.

4. Use the tian2 pan2 and the xiang4 direction of the house to locate the 3 auspicious directions:

a) Huo4 Hai4

b) Sen1 Qi4

c) He2 Si2

d) Tian1 Yi1

5. Locate one of the following items where applicable in the auspicious directions:

a) crystal running on water

b) painting of 9 carps

c) fish tank
