"...Vir'rakt or whatever..."

The Jazeel are no longer extant, or at least no longer maintain their old forum (and my time is too valuable for other purposes for me to use it to search further). This was an example of very, very easy intelligence gathering, if it does not stretch the term 'intelligence' too far to include going to an open forum used by a PvP guild foolish enough to seriously discuss their plans in public without even the intention of deception and simply reading of their absences, schedules, and dull-witted schemes 'in the clear'. I was not even asked to register.

Remind me to get a higher quality of enemies, without losing the dullards like this one for their entertainment value:

kk, i hear you G man, but which irekei guild (Cupertino, that is their city name, i think)?
There are so damn many of them! My first order of business when i hit lvl 59
is im gonna go to Vir'rakt or whatever one of their guilds to the south is
called and pk'ing everyone of the SoBs for killing alas at NPC a few weeks ago
(3 on 1 is weak, especially when fighting a gimped templar). They is sooo dead.

Keep me posted, and did Morn try to bane us? Why was HoP near our city, an old grudge?

Later all, cya in a few weeks.

Yes, that was me, and some of the hri'al. Well, it's been a few weeks since the 21st when this was posted.

When Alastores hits 59 all of a sudden he won't be a gimp? I suppose it's possible, if the problem is with the template and not the player. And, of course, we won't have leveled, ourselves, in the meantime, AND, we will then follow the one-at-a-time-"Bad Guy"-rule for him. /rolleyes

Alastores? Where are you?

For the record, as a player I do think there is something weak in a fight in a PvP game (on an unofficial role / lore -play server) between characters of enemy races where one player carelessly allows himself to be surrounded and ganged up on and killed by those lower in level than he and then claims to have been wronged because, after all, not only was he alone, careless, "trespassing and stealing" in-character (which is up to us to determine, not him) and flagged for PvP, but his chosen template was 'gimped'. The something weak is: Alastores. Of whom we never, ever heard again, by the way.

Anyone who thinks there is something fundamentally wrong with Irekei killing fir'khanim (non-Irekei) in the desert is playing the wrong game.

Anyone who thinks as a player (out-of-character) that revenge, if attempted, for the deserved consequences of foolhardy behavior need be justified along with the fool by claims of wrong-doing against him or, ironically, "weakness" on the part of the winner-- in a game like Shadowbane-- is playing the game of Real Life [TM] with the deck stacked against himself.

In character, the only respectable response to being killed by a group is, as the Nhalaq'oa'im (Elves) of Daeriath Midranell might say, "Ahrethil monkakhrun!? ("Can you only defeat me by outnumbering me!?")

In Irekei culture, deception and cruelty are considered the honorable means of dealing with weak beings. Jov'uus'im by no means deserve the truth; thus it is ours to give or withhold as we see fit. And, they are not our children that we should nurture them through their weakness to strength, even if we could do so. N'koth.

It's too bad that stupidity isn't painful.
