Irekei Language: Most Needed | Suggested Words

Note her sentence construction, usage, and what is this verb vruq? (Ohhhh, it's a form of vra, " (to) know".)

    • kharika
      All noble things derive part of their nature from Fire. This is nowhere more apparent than in the uus'al of the world, Those Who Endure, the Irekei. The Dragon's transforming flame, a gift to the Unfinished Ones who were our ancestors from Khalikryst Herself, is in our very blood; thus, we are warded from lesser flames forevermore. But not only did that flame mark our flesh and heat our blood: it kindled our very spirits to a blaze, and does so again to every generation at the time of their testing. That spirit of fire known only to our people is the kharika, and without it one can be no better than a Red Elf.
    • Urikhan
      Irekei term denoting, without regard to age, one who has not passed the tests of manhood or womanhood, or, (in post-Turning circumstances) has not yet demonstrated and proven the proper kharika to be accepted at the hearth of a tribe or family.
    • Irikhan
      Irekei for 'hotblood': One who has passed the tests of manhood or womanhood and is not only no longer a child but has proven that the kharika burns within him; specifically, a worthy member of a particular tribe or family. In certain circumstances, one might be known as Irikhan to one virakt but have yet to prove this to another.
    • virakt
      Irekei for 'sand-group', meaning a family or tribe of our people.
