Current Update

Hitting The Road...

THERE WILL BE NO REPORT NEXT WEEK. I'll be away from the computer until January 4.

We're hitting the road in about (glancing at watch) half an hour. We're headed to New Orleans to visit my family, Houston to visit John's, and several places there abouts. Meanwhile... A blessed Solstice to one and all!

(Boulder had a particularly gorgeous Yule, as a well-timed snow that Eve made for an especially bright Solstice night under that full moon I'm sure y'all have heard about by now.)

I've also been Christmas shopping, but only a little. Here's what we're getting for Christmas:

(Shhhh. Don't tell John. He hasn't seen it yet 'cause the print shop is waiting for the frame to come in.)

MERCURIAL and I are getting along splendidly. I went and got an eFax number so the editor can send me her comments/corrections/requested edits on my article. I like their editor. Didn't let me get away with anything substandard, not a thing. You know how there are always bits you're unsatisfied with, even into the 20th draft? She caught 'em all.

THE NEVERENDING STORY COLLECTION is growing by leaps and bounds! You may wish to head on over there and check it out. The number of stories has just about doubled, and what you can do with them is endless -- hence the name.

Rather rushed,

(Niki)
