December 7, 2005, Light Snow Event

On December 7, about 1/3" of snow fell in the Norman area--it was a fascinating cultural study being here with snow. This area is not used to snow, or to the 5-10 degree temperatures that also occurred. Here are some pictures of this memorable winter weather event ('brutal winter weather', according to the local weather service).
