February 17, 2006, Icestorm and Sleet
On the evening of the 17th, a significant icestorm caused heavy freezing rain across large portions of Oklahoma. In Norman, about 0.25" of ice accumulated before precipitation fortunately turned to sleet. Ice and sleet were around for nearly 5 days before entirely melting.
