	During the 2004 presidential race there were many reports in the news of voter registration fraud.There were reports of counties with more people registered to vote than there were adults in that county , dead people registering to vote , the report of someone being bribed with crack cocaine to make a large number of fradulent registrations , and others. I had hoped (I didn't expect)but I had hoped that when I went to vote , I would be reguired to show my ID to vote , of course that was not the case.The purpose of this site is to attempt to change that.I hope to get enough people to sign a petition to get congress to enact legislation to require identification for all voters. It would be very difficult for someone who registered a bogus name to produce an ID , I feel this would prevent most cases of voter fraud.I think a persons vote is an important enough thing to require an ID. There have been cries of voter intimidation when the checking of IDs is mentioned , however if everyone is required to show an ID no one can claim they were singled out. Your honest vote is diluted when there are illegal votes being cast.Please join me in this effort to keep future elections honest , please sign my petition and ask others to do the same.Please email me if you comments about this effort.
