A Time Of Harvest

This is a time of harvest
All across this land,
There are souls ready for salvation,
Who need to hear God's plan.

We are workers in the field;
Called to labor for the Lord.
We have one common goal;
And all will receive his rich reward.

Time is swiftly passing by
And souls need to find salvation.
The plan has been made simple;
By the Lord who died for every Nation.

Bringing in the harvest will bring joy to our life.
Jesus will forgive and take away all sin and strife.
Christians join as one;  With Jesus as the reason.
It is time to be in unity.  This is the acceptable Season.

A Time Of Harvest

Solomon was a King who sought the wisdom of the Lord. He wrote
about 'Seasons' and the different times in life. For everything there
is a season in this life. There is a time when planting must take place
in order that seeds sown might then be watered and have time to grow
to produce a harvest. There must also be a time to reap the harvest
which has been sown and pluck up that which is planted.

The harvest of the Lord is great, but the laborers are few. We must
also pray for the Lord of the harvest to send forth workers into the
harvest. Sometimes we can be the answer to the prayers we pray if
we will say as the Prophet Isaiah, "here am I Lord, send me." God's
servants have sown seeds across this land and He has watered each day.
It is time that souls be reached for the Lord.

Just as trees reproduce fruit and the vine produces grapes in times of
harvest, a Christian also will produce good fruit. We are told that
a child of God will be known by the fruit they produce. The attributes of
our Lord are love, joy, and peace. Everything that contributes to these
attributes describe our Lord and in him, our joy can be full. Our Lord also
told us when we come see his salvation, we are to "go tell" others of his saving grace.
Christians are to be like Jesus and he has chosen us to bring forth fruit for
the Master's use.

As we look at the harvest with trees of fruit and fields of golden
grain, may we also remember there are souls in God's harvest.
People are perishing daily as Satan steals many souls from the Harvest
that God has intended to come to a saving knowledge of his love. As
we sow Gospel seeds of kindness along the pathway of life, the rain of his
love will water and bring forth fruit in time of harvest. We are all
called to be workers in the field of the Lord.

For everything there is a season. This is the acceptable day and year
of the Lord. May we be about his business as we seek to always abide
within his love and favor. Today is the day of salvation. This
is the time to share, care, and bring in the Harvest. With the
help of Holy Spirit, we can go forth rejoicing as we join together
in unity to reach out for souls.
