There’s a Day That’s Coming
 (I Thessalonians 4: 13-17)

There’s a day of hope in a world of woe.
When the trumpet sounds we’ll be glad to go.
All the wrongs he’ll right and rewards present.
With a shout of joy all sadness will end.

There’s a day of hope in a world of sin.
May you hear him say, "You may enter in".
Rising up in clouds till we fill the sky.
With our Lord we’ll live, we never will die.

There’s a day that’s coming soon.
There’s a day for those who have died
When our Lord returns to Earth
In glory, in glory and power.

There’s a day that’s coming soon.
There’s a day for those still alive
When our Lord reveals his face
Of glory, of glory and power.

He’ll be coming back to Earth,
Be coming in the clouds
To carry us home.
We’ll be rising through the air
Be going to a place
Where we’ll always be with our God,
Our God, our God.
