Positions

Bara: slave position: In this position the slave falls to her stomach face down to the floor and turned to the left, crosses her wrists behind her back and similarly crosses her ankles her legs straight in preparation for binding. Book 13: Explorers of Gor, page 77

Belly position: a form of obeisance position with a girl on her belly and her head to boot or floor, palms pressed flat to floor; variations can include kissing the Master's boot.

Binding: When ordered into standard binding position the girl lays on the ground, wrists crossed behind the back and ankles crossed. (this is most likely another name for bara) Book 25: Magicians of Gor, page 34

Blanket position: when a blanket or cloak or covering of any sort is thrown over a slave girl she may not speak or rise; she must remain silent until the blanket is lifted by a free person. Book 13: Explorers of Gor, page 94

Bound by the Master's will: refers to a slave being commanded to hold position, as though bound, hands clasping opposite wrists until she is released. Book 22: Dancer of Gor, page 227. Book 25: Magicians of Gor, page 388

Bracelets, or chaining position: basic pleasure slave position. The slave girl on command thrusts her hands behind her back wrists together in preparation to be braceleted.Book 8: Hunters of Gor, page 146 Book 10: Tribesmen of Gor, page 78

Bracelets-kneeling: kneels, thighs spread wide, back arched, arms extended before her/his with wrists pressed together, head held high with eyes lowered submissively.

Capture position - The slave lays down upon her back, bending her knees to place her feet flat against the ground, hands at her side and remains motionless.

Crawl position - gets down on all fours, palms to elbows flat on floor, ass in the air, forehead close but not touching the floor, crawls to just an inch from Master/Mistress's feet

Display position: standing, feet a little more than shoulders width apart, shoulders rolled back, fingers laced behind neck, face turned to the left, eyes lowered.

Gorean love bow: a girl is arched backward and bound over an  object for usage exposing her fully to the Master. Book 9: Marauders of Gor, page 261

Hair position: in this position a girl stands, crouching slightly behind the Master and deeply bows her head. From this position, she may be led, for example, or moved to another position or simply, controlled. Book 12: Beasts of Gor, page 409

Har'ta command: girl needs to move faster. Book 1: Tarnsman of Gor, page 57

Heel position: the slave follows the Master at his heel, 'where she belongs'. Slightly behind and to his left or right, depending on which side is his weapon hand. The distance behind varies. A coffle of girls being led through a city, may follow inches behind, while in an open field, she may be 5 to 10 feet following. Book 9: Marauders of Gor, page 123 Book 11: Slave Girl of Gor, pages 30 and 109

High lesha: the slave stands, she turns away from her Master, tilting up her chin and turns her head to the left as a leash is attached to her collar. Her wrists are extended behind her to be locked into slave bracelets or otherwise bound.

High-harness position: a display position in which a kneeling slave is braceleted and leashed and commanded to hold her head very high exposing her neck.<Data> Book 21: Mercenaries of Gor, pages 308-309

Karta Position of Obedience : She kneels on the floor, her thighs spread widely to allow her to lay her chest upon the floor, she leans forward placing her breasts and forehead against the floor, she reaches out with her arms fully extended, palms against floor. Ankles may be crossed or uncrossed. Shows utmost respect. Requests may be made from this position.

Kneel to the Coffle: Kneels, normally thighs parted, up upon the heels and lifts either the left or right wrist outwards, depending on the type of coffle, so that the wrist can be attached to a wrist ring within the coffle chain.

Kneel to the Whip: this command orders a slave to kneel, bowing her head to her knees, her wrists crossed under her as though bound. The position is intended to expose her back to the whip. Book 3: Priest-Kings of Gor, page 201 and 202 Book 7: Captive of Gor, page 200 Book 15: Rogue of Gor, page 21

Kolar or Collaring Position (Also called "the Position of Female Submission.": the slave kneels before the Master, back on her heels, arms extended, head down between her arms, wrists crossed as though for binding. Book 8: Hunters of Gor, page 16  Book 10: Tribesmen of Gor, page 359

Collaring-beg: the slave kneels before the one she begs the collar of, she places His right boot to her throat, she places her arms behind her back, crossing them at the wrist. and remains still, awaiting her fate, for Him to either kill her, or take her as His own.

Leading position: posture of a slave girl bending forward at the waist with her head at a master's hip so that he may grab her hair and guide her where he wishes her to go. Book 21: Mercenaries of Gor, page 399

Lesha: the slave remains standing or kneeling, depending upon her current position. She turns away from her Master, tilting up her chin and turns her head to the left as a leash is attached to her collar. Her wrists are extended behind her to be locked into slave bracelets or otherwise bound. Book 11: Slave Girl of Gor, page 125 Book 13: Explorers of Gor, page 76

Master's Kiss: Takes her hair in his hand and yanks back her head hard as he pulls back on her hair exposing her neck and face to him. He attacks her lips with his own kissing her passionately and powerfully, taking her top lip in his teeth he bites down on it and then takes her bottom lip and sucking on it bites down on it as well as he continues to kiss her, leaving a purple mark upon both lips, sometimes even drawing blood.He then kisses her exposed neck.

Modality of the She Qadruped: This is not technically a position but is definitely a command sometimes used for punishment. an instruction whereby the slave performs her regular duties upon hands and knees without the benefit of the use of her hands. In this mode she may not rise to her feet and may use only her mouth and teeth to grasp and manipulate objects. Book 16: Guardsman of Gor, page 225 Book 21: Mercenaries of Gor, page 215

Nadu: gorean position of the pleasure slave and usually the first slave position taught to a new girl. A kneeling slave is directed to straighten her back and sit on her heels, lifting her head, and placing her hands, palms down, on her thighs. There are a couple of examples which suggest a variation of uplifted palms, though this appears to be an exception to the basic position.

Nestle position: ''Nestle ' I told her. 'Yes Master ' she said. She nestled obediently in the crook of my left arm.' Book 13: Explorers of Gor, page 77, 81 and page 166 Book 13: Explorers of Gor, page 279 Book 17: Savages of Gor, page 155 Book 25: Magicians of Gor, page 320

Obedience Position : She goes to the floor, laying upon her stomach, face down before the Master. She turns her head and places her cheek against his feet, kissing them lightly in a gesture of love and submission.

Second Obedience: the slave lowers herself onto her belly on the floor. she then inches forward, remaining low on her belly, and upon reaching the Masters feet, she licks and kisses them. Afterwards she takes the Masters foot and places it gently upon her head. She then lowers his foot to the floor and kisses it again. she may then inch back a bit , still on her belly humbly.

Obeisance position: a position of extreme deference which is described as a slave deeply bowing her head from the basic pleasure slave position, often flattening her palms against the floor and leaning forward to lick and kiss the boots of a Free person. Book 15: Rogue of Gor, page 299. Book 21: Mercenaries of Gor, page 409. Book 22: Dancer of Gor, pages 114 and 186

Postrate: similar to karta, kneels and touches her/his forehead to the floor stretches her/his arms out before her/his with palms face down, fingers splayed wide.

Prone: Lay flat on back, legs pointed to Master if possible, with wide spread thighs, arms resting at sides with palms up, left knee flexed slightly to enhance the view. Keep eyes lowered and await inspection.

Slave rape: the sexual use of a slave girl; may be either tender or brutal, casual, deliberate or disciplinary.

Run: When this command is given, she runs toward her objective, taking short rapid steps, with her legs almost straight, her feet hardly leaving the floor. As she moves her back is straight, her head is turned to the left, and her arms are at her sides, her palms facing outward at a 45 degree angle to her body. Upon reaching her objective she drops gracefully to her knees and typically resumes the position of Nadu. Book 10: Tribesman of Gor, page 34

Sex: she moves to her hands and knees, her legs parted widely, her head straight, motionless waiting for the Masters command and pleasure.

She-sleen position: Also known as 'assuming the modality of the she-quadruped.' In this position the slave falls to her hands and knees her head down on the floor her hindquarters upthrust for viewing and/or her Master's pleasure. Book 21: Mercenaries of Gor, page 215

Slave lips: When this command is given the slave turns her head up to the Master her lips pursed in a sensual kissing position. She remains motionless her lips thusly puckered and may not move until she is granted the kiss of a Master. Book 18: Blood Brothers of Gor, pages 111 and 404. Book 19: Kajira of Gor, page 224

Slavers Kiss: She falls to the floor upon all fours, and lowers her head to the ground, turning so her left cheek presses to the ground, eyes closed, with her buttocks thrust upward and her thighs widely spread, exposing her hindquarters fully in preparation for the caress of the leather against her body.

Stake position: When chained at a stake the with this command the slave lies down and is not permitted to rise even to her knees.

Stand: shoulders back, with feet slightly parted, the left foot somewhat forward of the right with a slight flex in the knee and the feet angled out a bit, hips canted slightly, right hand rests palm in on the hip, left hand resting with the palm against the upper thigh, This is a seductive pose. Book 24: Vagabonds of Gor, page 386

Submission: the slave kneels before the Master, back on her heels, arms extended, head down between her arms, wrists crossed as though for binding. Book 8: Hunters of Gor, page 16. Book 13: Explorers of Gor, page

Suga: kneels, knees wide apart she lays her head to the floor, forehead down and arms stretched over head and wrists crossed, lying quietly.

Sula: In this position a slave lays upon her back her hands at her sides palms upward her legs widely spread to await her Master's pleasure Book 13: Explorers of Gor page 77

Sula-Ki: This position is almost identical to the Sula position, except once she has assumed the Sula position she slowly lifts her hips up off the floor, as if beckoning him with her body, encouraging her sexual use by him.

Table: goes to all 4, arms and legs a shoulder width apart locking her/his elbows, makes her/his back smooth and level, holds her/his head level.

Thigh: this command might be given to a female or to the Free person with a female, who is not identified. It essentially means, show your brand. Book 16: Guardsman of Gor, page 184.

Tower position: a position used frequently by domestic slaves with thighs closed and hands resting with wrists crossed on legs. Book 3: Priest Kings of Gor, page 46

Usage: This is a disciplinary position wherein the slave is ordered to lie supine and motionless in preparation for usage. Book 13: Explorers of Gor, page 202

Use - discipline: a punishment which avows the free man's prerogative to sexually use a house-owned girl as discipline. There are examples which state that these rights are governed by a Code, wherein a girl may not be used or disciplined without the permission of her owner. Book 11: Slave Girl of Gor, page 226. Book 12: Beasts of Gor, page 174

Walk Command : she turns in a graceful pirouette She then walks, gliding across the room, her feet hardly seeming to leave the floor, her hips swaying sensually, her body erect and proud. When she reaches her objective she halts and stands, her body erect, her shoulders back, her chest thrust forward, her belly in. She turns her hip out a bit, her hands at her sides, and points one foot. Her head is up & eyes lowered. Book 25: Magicians of Gor, pages 329-330

Walk-knee, simple: a slave travels on knee's, without standing, to fetch items or tend to duties. Book 25: Magicians of Gor, page 342

Whip: She first assumes the Nadu position, though with her arms crossed in front of her. She then leans forward and places her head to the floor, first sweeping her hair forward over her shoulders in order that her back might be utterly exposed to the whip.

Whip-Kneeling: this command orders a slave to kneel, bowing her head to her knees, her wrists crossed under her as though bound. The position is intended to expose her back to the whip.
