Camp Misty Mount is a 30-acre camp located within Catoctin Mountain Park with many recreational opportunities/activities such as Swimming (Lake with Sandy Beaches & Outdoor Swimming Pool), Boating, Canoeing, Hiking Trails, Picnicking, Fishing, Scenic Drives, Camp David- the Presidential Retreat, Campfire (Singing & Dancing around Campfire), Rock Climbing to the top of Cunningham Falls, Sleep over for children etc. Camp Misty Mount offers rustic wood cabins for camping, equipped with cots and mattresses. Each cabin has a light in the ceiling and on the porch. Facilities for drinking water, and separate hot showers and flush toilets for ladies and men are provided centrally. Please bring pillows, pillow cases, sheets, sleeping bags, blankets, towels, toiletries, umbrella, caps, shorts, swimming trunks, sandals, hiking shoes, sneakers, beach chairs or lounge chairs or blankets to sit around the Campfire, flash lights, bandages, health insurance card, Tylenol, Neosporin, antihistamine, sun block, etc.
