Sandesh got a second prize in 16th annual 3 day Indian Dance and Music competition held at UMBC Baltimore in Dec 1999. The category he participated was for kids 13 year or less, kids from all over USA participated in this competition.
Sandesh provided Tabala accompaniment for bajans and concerts during the last holidays.In his spare time he volunteers Tabala accompaniment for cultural activities at the temple.
Sandesh age 12 is son of V. Sreenivas & Leela, he is an 8th grader at St. Mark's Catholic school in College Park, MD. His other hobby is karate and he likes to teach Tabala and Karate at his spare time.
