There are not enough words, pictures, screams, signs, protests, bullets, bombs, missiles, soldiers, white-collar works, coal-covered blue-collars, babies, buttons, elections, peaceful functions, headaches, collaterally damaged citizens, dissident endeavors, shock campaigns, propaganda pamphlets, sleepless nights, honorable fights, F18s, antiaircraft fire, chaff, flares, donkeys, elephants, weasels, law-breakers, law-enforcers, broken homes, homeless vets, postwar strategies, censored media, illegal aliens, investigated Arabs, over populations, picket fences, prisons, junky drug addicts, drug wars, car washes, POWs, bill boards, abused children, misused schools, silenced shouts, disposable teens, elementary schools, smog filled cities, SUVs, IRC channels, CIA agents, bottomless money pits, tax cuts, art programs, grocery stores, closed employment doors to express the way we feel about this war.

Nor are any of those things close to home considered when waging war. Will we look to the future with blinders on our eyes?

If we only stopped to look at our homes would we look across the sea? Is this war about liberation? Did we rally the world against terror as Bush has said in speeches he would? Did we override the UN? Where is the clear link that Iraq has to September eleventh? Did we forget to police the world after a fair trial? Are the military courts good enough for rebel United States citizens? Why has the American Taliban John Walker read one hundred books while in jail? Will I live to tell my children this chilling tale? Is Bush a tool, a puppet, a God fearing Christian, a military tactician, an economic savior, a broken dry drunk, a corporate president, an idiot, or a genius? Can I answer that question with out resorting to name-calling? Is there a time to judge our president or only a time to follow? Will we all fall like dominos in a post cold war world if we tag along to his lead? Has Bush and Blair dug our troop's graves and will our boys fill 'em? Will the mass grave & greatest battle begin in Baghdad? Will Saddam use chem/bio agents/weapons? Will you listen to a word I say? Is it time for activism every 24-hour day? Will I cry if my brother doesn't come home? Will I look to the sky and ask if the same God Bush prays to is still alive? Will I turn to another God than his when I retreat to my soul searching? Has this world sold it's soul on Ebay, #soultrader efnet or did it never have one to give away? Is this too prolix or does it only skim the surface of what we all want to say? Should I end this with a quote or will it be quoted from?

In humble words I must pray that others understand why I must raise a fist, resist, march, learn, shout, and all around go about getting this voice out. For it cannot be my own. I can't be the sole possessor of something this mammoth. Proudly I must put a cap on this over spewing missive by sharing a quote that is not mine:
(lead in)
If our government would override the UN, travel to a foreign land, and ignore pleas for direct and irrevocable evidence that Saddam produced & hid banned weapons, then would that government think twice about stealing rights from it's citizens? Are our freedoms in jeopardy? The only way to know is to look at the responses our courts have given to violations of the constitution and the law by part of the United States government in this war on terror. I fear an iceberg of misuse may be surfacing. A lawless government bent on safety driven by fear and hate?
"Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." Benjamin Franklin, 1759

For any of you that don't understand the quotes significance, do yourself a favor go look at the rights that have been removed in the name of homeland defense and the war on terror

I suppose I should add that no matter how antiwar this view might be, Saddam is a megalomaniac that should be brought to justice.
