VRCau - Vertical Rescue Challenge Australia Venues and Dates

VRC2k - Vertical Rescue Challenge 2000

The Inaugural VRC2k - Vertical Rescue Challenge 2000 was held in Oberon, New South Wales, Australia on November 4 and 5, 2000.

The skins competition was held on the Recreation Ground in town adjacent the Oberon State Emergency Service Headquarters.

The Official Dinner was held on the night of the 4th at the Oberon RSL Club.

The finals competition was held at a private limestone quarry at Duckmaloi, just East of Oberon.

VRCau - Vertical Rescue Challenge Australia 2002

The next VRCau - Vertical Rescue Challenge Australia will be held on the first (long) weekend in October, 2002. It will be a three day duration event commencing Friday October 4 until Sunday October 6, 2002 allowing travel home on Monday after the closing dinner Sunday night.

The location for the VRCau - Vertical Rescue Challange 2002 will again be Oberon NSW. Venues will be confirmed as they are finalized.

VRCau - Vertical Rescue Challenge Australia 2004

The location of the VRCau - Vertical Rescue Challenge 2004 will be announced at the Official Dinner during the VRCau - Vertical Rescue Challenge Australia 2002.

Nominations to host the VRCau - Vertical Rescue Challenge 2004 must be submitted to the VRCau Committee no later than October 1, 2002.
