September_11

             I choose red letters to represent the bloodshed of this day.
Today, September 11, 2001, I saw apart of history again. A few months ago in April I was over joyed to meet a few of the surviving Tuskegee Airmen. In 1999 Mark Mcguire broke the all time home run record. For years I saw Michael Jordan help the Chicago Bulls win championships on television. I have enjoyed many years of Michael Jackson astound us with his music. Michael Jackson made his anouncement to come back to the music industry. Michael Jordan is coming back on October 30th only this time with the Washington Wizards. I enjoyed Mike Tyson winning World Heavy Weight championships.
     But today the world change more. It seemed as if it was World War II all over again. To actually see on television the Pentagon, both towers of the World Trade Center and some other places having a airplanes from American and United Airlines that were hi-jacked by Terroist to crash into the buildings and explode was not human. Not to mention hearing of car bombings as well. Looking at this on television all I could think of was what was the last thoughts of the people on the plane and the people in the buildings. How will their children deal with their parents death. . Most of all how would the victims and families of victims handle this. It was suppose to be a normal day but in America it is filled with the hurt,pain,sorrow,fear and rage. America has had terroist in the past but never to hit in the states like this. It is really tragic. I had to turn to a religious channel to pray and cry with them for a while. When will the bloodshed end.
     So if you see this page please pray for the victims and the family and friends who lost their loved ones. Also pray for our Soldiers that they all make it back home safely. I say that because I know it has got to be a war after all that happened today.I only hope and pray it will never be like some of the wars in the past.

Wow, it has been so many years since I wrote this and now look Michael Jackson just passed andit is almost the anniversay of 9/11. My friend who signed my guestbook last past a few years after I wrote this. I still miss him. He lived long enough to see Kartrina. That was also a tragic moment in American History. I just wish he could have seen President Obama get into office. He died October,2005 so I guess it is only fitting to say good-bye to Geocities in October of 2009. You have served us well.
