Dr.PN Nagpal completed his graduation and Post Graduation from University of Rajasthan, and then worked as a fellow of German academy for two years under Prof. GM Schiwickerath. Recepient of various awards like Medal of Wills Eye Hospital, P Sivareddy Gold Medal 1985, and best teacher award - Hyderabad , he is ever striving to train the young ophthalmologists as future VR- surgeons at the Retina Foundation-Ahmedabad of which he is the Director . Till date he organised numerous workshops and scientific symposia. He has a lot of national and international publications in his repertoire, and has authored various text-books.His innovative ideas have contributed much to the Indian scenario of Ophthalmology.He has the unique distinction of being on the editorial board of American Academy of Ophthalmology. |
