Section 8

The chair whipped around and Kiyoshi’s gasp was not in vain. The gray-eyed, blonde haired, General Maku satisfyingly laughed at her surprise. His brilliant white teeth shined as he smiled and Kiyoshi gritted her teeth. She had made the situation look likes he was attractive. “I’m sorry, you just looked very familiar.” Kiyoshi muttered and her head drooped. “Look, will you hurry up and do what ever it is you’re supposed to do. I really don’t have all day.” Kiyoshi flashed a glare at the man and her eyes swirled gray, just as his were. The general stopped laughing immediately and stood up, looking into her eyes, but trying to be unnoticed. Kiyoshi did notice and her eyes change rapidly from an icy gray, to a royal purple. The general frowned and walked around the desk between the two.

“Yes, it is nice to meet you, Lady Kiyoshi.” The general bowed deeply, his hair falling over his shoulder to the side of his face. As he rose to meet her eye to eye, he picked up a piece of paper from the table beside him. Reading it, he glanced up at Kiyoshi and set the paper down. “You are to be taken to the city of Gen. Once there, you must destroy all humanity and buildings. My army and I shall assist you to make the job quicker. Any questions?”

Kiyoshi shook her head and a dark blue crept into her eyes. “None.” Kiyoshi’s feelings exited her body and her emotions died away. Kiyoshi nodded to bid a farewell and turned away. “Oh, and general.” General Maku stiffened and Kiyoshi turned around at the sound of his muscles tightening. “I hope that none of your men get in my way.” Kiyoshi’s stern face grew evil, and tinged with sarcasm, but some sense of reality still remained.

“The same to you, Lady Kiyoshi. If an accident were to occur, it would be quite horrendous, no?” Maku smirked and Kiyoshi greeted it with a grin. She waved her hand through the air and continued walking into the locker room. Maku furrowed his brow and went back to his black chair. Sitting down, he tried to think of what she meant by her threat. Was it really sarcasm as his was, or was she actually planning something against his army...? “She wouldn’t. She is controlled by us now, there will be no accidents.” Maku continued looking through his paper work and planning the route they would take on the map.

Kiyoshi left the locker room, the men whistling and giggling like fangirls. Kiyoshi pushed her hair behind her ear and turned down a long corridor. She turned into a room with a black door and looked at all the huge guns and other weapons gleaming in the dim light. Men with glasses and white hair stopped to look at the woman invading their personal department. Kiyoshi walked in uninvited and pulled a few things off the shelves. Some revolvers, a few plasma grenades, a rocket launcher, and a light shield. She packed them away into her belt and turned to leave only to meet the eyes of the white-haired men glaring at her. Kiyoshi snorted and tried to walk to the door, but a man stepped in the way.

“Who do you think you are? You can’t use any of this equiptment with out our consent. Put it back now.” The man pulled out a stick and pressed a blue button on the black machine. The end flipped open from a round end, to three sharp triangles. White and Light blue electricity shot from end to end and ran around the middle creating a tight circle in the middle.

Kiyoshi closed her eyes and shook her head. When she opened them, all the men were lying dead on the floor. There was no blood, but their hands were tied behind their backs and their legs tied to each other. She leaned down to check one man’s pulse only to find nothing. Kiyoshi stood back up and walked out of the black door, closing it behind her. Again, she had no idea what hapened, and again, she didn’t care.

The corridor was filled with shouts of excitement. Kiyoshi’s ear flinched and she walked over to a room with a small, dark blue door. As she opened it, the men shouted louder and ran over to shake her hand. One just sat secluded in a corner. Kiyoshi smiled as the men all prompted her with unanswerable questions and with one motion of her arm, threw them against a wall. The men stood up and jumped up and down in excitement. They had been assaulted with one hit and were dying to know how she did it. Kiyoshi shook her head and laughed. She slowly walked over to the quiet man in the corner and knelt down the meet his gaze. “Hello, why are you not as annoying as everyone else here?” Kiyoshi’s mouth corners tipped up and a smile spread across her face. The man just looked at her for a moment and then back to the truck parked inside the room. He stood up and walked over to it, climbing into the back. Kiyoshi stood up, agitated he had blown her off. She flipped her hair out of her face and walked over to Maku, who had just entered. “What is this?” She tapped her foot and waited patiently.

General Maku grinned and nodded towards the truck. “That’s you ride. Horses aren’t necessary this time.” Maku watched as confusion clouded Kiyoshi’s eyes and turned them a light yellow. Maku smiled and went over to the truck, climbing into the passenger seat in the front. “Well, get in.”

Kiyoshi strolled over to the truck and jumped in, sitting next to the quiet man and looking at the others inside. The truck started and moved slowly out of the room. Kiyoshi’s ear twitched and a door slid open. At least, that’s what she heard. The truck pulled outside onto a dirt road. Kiyoshi’s left eye glowed neon green, as Taikoru’s hair was colored, and a scope activated. Kiyoshi peered through the walls of the confined truck and out into a field with many lilac colored flowers. Butterflies of the same colors floated around the long blades of grass.

It was dark, but the horizon glowed a deep gold, and red streaked through the sky. The sun was setting, and Kiyoshi witnessed it for what seemed like the first time in her life. She stared off into space at the wonderful colors, but soon lost interest as the quiet man stared at her.

Kiyoshi deactivated her scope and looked back at him. His brown eyes glimmered in the little light that the van held. It was almost pitch black. “What?” Kiyoshi didn’t know why he was looking at her so intently. He looked away, still sulking in seclusion. Kiyoshi frowned and turned away, looking at the other men sitting and staring at her. A whisper or two passed between the men and Kiyoshi grew irritated. What was the big deal?

Kiyoshi’s ear flicked again and Kiyoshi grabbed into the blackness of the truck. An arrow flew into her fingers and men whispered and giggled. Kiyoshi through the arrow back in the direction it came from and a man choked. A thud sounded through the truck and the floor shook a bit. Kiyoshi wiped her hands together and crossed her legs, relaxing now that the men had stopped their whispering. Kiyoshi closed her eyes and dozed off.

Kiyoshi woke up to the sounds of the men hushing each other and moving towards the doors of the truck. Kiyoshi activated her scope again and saw innocent people bartering inside a beautiful park of many different colored flowers. Fountains, trees, playgrounds, and fireflies dotted the green-grassed park and Kiyoshi turned off her scope. She crept to the doors also, followed by the man who’s eyes flickered a deep brown. Her own swirled a sparkling silver and she pulled a revolver from her belt, loading it and such. Kiyoshi glanced around at the others in the truck and they nodded to her. I guess she was to exit first. They were just back up. Kiyoshi sighed and moved in front of the men and to the doors. She placed her gun back into the holder and instead, opened the door just wide enough to let her through. She hopped out and landed on some wild flowers. She picked a white one up and placed it in her hair. “Hello, everyone."
