The room is also known as
The
Vivekananda Study Center . The library has more than 300 books on various topics such as
YOGA, MEDITATION, SPIRITUALITY, SCRIPTURES, LIFE AND WORKS OF GREAT SOULS such
as Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Sri Sarada Devi also known as The Holy Mother,
Swami Vivekananda, direct disciples of Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Ramana Maharishi,
Swami Ranganathananda, president, Ramakrishana Math and Ramakrishana Mission and
many more.
We
also have in the same room a collection of over 60 audio cassettes, of which 20
are music cassettes and the rest lecture cassettes. The list of books classified
according the topics and the cassettes can be viewed by following the links
below.
In addition books to learn
Sanskrit, as well as 2 CDs about Spoken Sanskrit and grammar, and a few
magazines are available as reference material at the
Vivekananda Study
Centre . Also interactive multimedia CD's for , Complete works of Swami Vivekananda, Personality
development, Aurobindo's 'The greatness of India', Rg Vedic chanting in
mp3 are available. Books and cassettes available in
the library can be borrowed for a period of two weeks after the weekly classes
or from the Vivekananda Study Centre or through volunteers. Catalogues will be
