THE INAUGURAL FUNCTION

This is one of the most important event in the events list of the VSC. It is usually conducted at the beginning of every academic year, usually at 7: 30 pm in the Central Lecture Theater ( CLT ) in the Humanities and Social sciences Block ( HSB ).

It serves the purpose of introducing, especially the new students on campus, to the concept and working of the VSC and also to the Profound message of Swami Vivekananda. It also serves as an opportunity for us introspect and review our activities for last academic year, which are read out to the general audience as a part of our annual reports

The Inaugural address is delivered by well qualified and eminient personalities, which inspires one and all. At the end of the fuction we distribute our intoduction sheet and a free booklet along with other pamphlets, bookmarks etc. Announcements regarding the schedule of activities for the forthcoming year is also announced.
