![]() "But it was the LORD (The Heavenly Father) who decided to crush Him (Jesus on the Cross) and make Him suffer for our sins. The LORD made His life an offering for the propitiation of our sins, but He will still see His (spiritual) descendants and live eternally. He will complete the things the LORD (The Heavenly Father) wants Him to do. After His soul suffers many things, He will see life (rise again from the dead) and be satisfied. My good Servant (Jesus) will make many people right with God; He will carry away their sins. For this reason I will make Him great among people, and He will share in all things with those who are strong. He willingly gave his life and was treated like a criminal. He was wounded for our transgressions; He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes (whiplashes at the hands of Roman soldiers) we are healed. (Isaiah 53:10-12)
Do take a moment to think about what these verses are saying to you. Think about what it means to be restored by Jesus' blessing of forgiveness and to have a changed heart. Do humble yourself in the presence of Almighty God, and acknowledge your need for forgiveness and restoration to spiritual wholeness TODAY! |
