Aim
The aim of Venture Scout Section is
to continue and complete the progressive training of
the Grasshopper, Cub Scout and Scout Sections and
to ensure that is members are given every opportunity of standing and worth.
Activities are designed to enhance
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, SPIRITUAL, and SOCIAL development
among members so as to enable them to play an active role in society.
To achieve the above aim,
the Venture unit organizes enjoyable and
attractive progressive training
program
that are based on the
Scout Promise and the Scout Law with leaders' supervision.
Method
In order to train a Venture Scout to be an all-rounded person and a good leader,
the activities held are mainly self-programming and largely self-governing,
Besides,
there is a progressive training
program which links to an Award Scheme.
We have the Venture Scout Award and the SAR's Scout Award
(formerly known as Queen's Scout Award).
