Early in the morning it was cloudy but at
least it was not raining. A few alumni, former members of the astronomy club,
together with two 10 graders from the astroelective were still eager to participate
in the event. Here are some of the photos taken between 9 and 9:30, when the
sky cleared out. Unfortunately no timings are available since we missed the
contacts because of the weather. (During the 3rd and 4th contact it was actually
raining.) Nevertheless the whole day was exciting with all students, teachers,
administration and even the guards trying to get a chance to look at Venus and
the Sun. Some followed the transit on-line, too. The proud feeling of being
part of the big astrocommunity prevailed.
