LIVE PLANTS IN THE HOME AQUARIUM
At one time or another, most tropical fish hobbyists want to experiment with live plants, Live plants add a lot to an aquarium- aesthetic value, cover for the fish, nutrient uptake, and limited oxygen (they also use up oxygen though). The most common mistake made when attempting to use live plants are disregarding the plants preferences. Plants, like fish, have ideal water conditions such as temperature, light and nutrient requirements. I have two plant sections: Setting Up A Planted Tank and Common Aquarium Plants. The third section is suggestions made by other people.
