VTC's 2003-2004 Season

Our Town
From Thorton Wilder's memorable village of Grovers Corners to Stillwater, America and beyond, Our Town finds joy and growth in all human experience - if we can only savor each day as if it were our last. Artisic Director Suzanne Maloney (To Kill A Mockingbird, Same Time, Next Year) directed this masterpiece of turn-of-the-century Americana which won the 1938 Pulitzer Prize.

The Nerd
Goofiness takes center stage! Willum Gilbert has it all - a promising career as an architect, devoted friends, even, maybe, a serious girlfriend. But then Rick Steadman, the ultimate social misfit, comes to visit and puts everything in peril. The Nerd escalates into madcap farce as Willum tries to out-nerd his sanity-destroying houseguest.

Evita
Award-winning guest director Gloria Dugan ( The Foreigner, Jesus Christ Superstar,) returns with the story of Evita, which follows the life of Argentina's infamous Eva Peron. It begins in 1934 and follows the young girl from her small hometown to Buenos Aires where she uses her feminine powers to climb the ladder of success, first as a model, then an actress, and finally as the wife of General Juan Peron. When Peron is elected president, Eva becomes the most powerful woman in South America.
