The original story that inspired the movie starring Jessica Tandy and Hume Cronyn. The VTC production starred Jack Wilburn and Rosemary Hartman.

Weller (Jack Wilbern) and Fonsia (Rosemary Hartman) play their regular game of gin.

Jack Wilbern saved the production by filling in after the original Weller dropped out two weeks before opening.
