Wrongfully Accused is a brilliantly woven tapestry rivaling The Naked Gun trilogy with its overt use of, shall we say, less than subtle humor. Drawing upon the plot and characters of numerous films, first and foremost being The Fugitive, Leslie Nielson (Ryan Harrison) delivers a first-class performance. Richard Crenna (Lt. Fergus Falls) is flawless in his portrayal of the overzealous U.S. Marshal charged with the task of bringing Nielson to justice. The supporting cast is highlighted by the lovely Kelly LeBrock of Weird Science fame. As can be expected the plot is secondary and is for the most part overshadowed by the cohesiveness amazingly achieved by skillfully bringing together bits and pieces from other movies and shaping them into a single, seamless entity. A very funny movie that only gets better each time you see it. Highly recommended!
