  Romance Author

I
am an aspiring romance author living in Southern California, transplanted from
  West Central Nebraska.  Recently
I've had a short story, "The 'Muse'-ings of an Author's Cat"
accepted for the anthology "Crumbs In The Keyboard", due out June 2002 from
Echelon Press.  Also, I've had another short story, "There is Always
a Beyond" accepted for the "Romancing the Soul" anthology due
out soon.  Last year, I finaled in my first RWA Chapter
contest, Central Ohio's "Ignite the Flame" contest, with my Time
  Travel, "Whispers Through Time."

  Currently, I'm working on an
anthology of veterans' stories titled "Let Us Not Forget: A Tribute to
  America's 20th Century Veterans" as a fund raiser for the America's 20th
Century Veterans Memorial being built in my hometown of North Platte,
Nebraska. Also, I'm working on two WWII love stories, "A Pair of
Wings" set in England before D-Day and in Europe during the Battle of the
Bulge, with an Army nurse and a P-51 pilot, and my epic love story, "...In Love & War,"
also set in England and Europe, as well as North Africa, with a flight nurse
and a B-17 pilot.  Excerpts from these can be seen in "My Writings".

  I recently married my own
knight in shinning armor and couldn't have a sexier hero!  Several of my
fictional heroes have taken on the traits and mannerisms of my husband, though
some characters were written before I even met Troy!  So, see, wishes do
  come true!

  We currently live in Southern
California with my son, Thomas, and our menagerie of animals.  We have a female
red-Doberman, Sadie (who thinks she's a lap dog and is the biggest baby I
know), and three cats: Bear (a Persian/Maine-Coon cross who is as wide as
he is long), Socks (who thinks she's my muse), and "Stink" (our
little fireball of a Persian Kitten who thinks she runs the joint).

  Thank you for visiting my
website, and I hope you enjoy the writings and maybe learn a few things from
the different resources available.  Feel free to sign my guest book and
let me know what you find useful or useless.  Thanks and enjoy!
