“Precious angel, under the sun,

How was I to know you'd be the one

To show me I was blinded, to show me I was gone

How weak was the foundation I was standing upon?”

Premiere

December 17 (Sunday Evening)

Amy stood before Liv, adjusting the spaghetti straps on her Donna Karen designer dress. Made of the softest blue silk, the dress came above her knee in the front, trailing to her ankles in the back. The straps were a pale pearl gray, accenting her slim shoulders and eloquent form. Wearing white ankle strap Prada heels, Amy had her hair upswept with soft blonde tendrils curling down against her chin. Her make up was soft, in shades of pink, her lips glimmering like diamonds. Amy looked like an angel. A true vision of beauty.

“Well?” Amy fidgeted, adjusting herself to show off the dress. “Do you think he will like it?”

Liv smiled, knowingly. “You both might want to take your own limo tonight, he is going to go wild when he sees you. And Billy is already wild, so what does that say?”

“And look at you in that Jessica Mcclintock!” Amy gushed. “That dress is so incredible, I could drop dead right here and now!” Liv was clad in a knee length black dress with a conservative white scowl trim. Her shoes were Mary Jane T style, giving her a youthful and yet playfully sexy appearance. Liv had her hair bound in the back, her face framed by sleek curves of her mahogany mane, akin to the 50’s style movie stars. Her make up was flawless. Liv was breathtaking.

“Erin, come on already, your killing me!” Amy squealed, trying not to wrinkle her dress with her spastic movements. “I have to make a drink, you want one?”

Liv nodded emphatically as Erin stepped out of the bedroom. “Wow!” she exclaimed, drawing Erin into the expansive room.

Erin wore a Jessica Mcclintock black strapless dress that fell to the floor. The top was bustier style, drawing her waist in and accentuating the curve of her hips. The back was all lacing and dramatically elegant. White trim adorned the top hem, drawing eyes to the structure of her shoulders and angular features. With hair left unbound and curling with elegant waves, cascading the length of her shoulders. Make up was in rich sables with emphasis on her eyes and diamond shine on her burgundy lips. Swaying in the crook of her bent arms, Erin had a white satin wrap with black trim at the edges.

“Holy shit!” Amy cried out, running over with a drink for Liv and Erin. She had tears in her eyes as she set them both down on the table. “I have never, ever seen you look like this, Erin. I cant believe it. You look too good to be true!”

“Don’t cry, Amy!” Erin grabbed her tight. “Talk about me, look at you. You look like a goddess in that dress. And Liv, Jesus, is there anything you cant wear? You look amazing!”

“Now this is fun!” Liv joined the hug. “We are soo going to knock them dead. Are you ready to face the press and paparazzi? Everyone is going to want to know about the women on the arms of the fellowship.”

“Yeah, there is a pre-show benefit for the World Trade Center Relief Fund and press conference at the Rihga Royal Hotel on 151 West 54 th Street. Then, we hit the actual premiere. The flash bulbs are blinding but you just hold onto your men and follow them.” Liv took a sip of her drink, trying not to muss her lipstick.

“I cant do this! Pictures, Press? Hell no.” Erin shook her head emphatically.

“You will be with Sean, trust me, he is a pro at this.” Liv smiled. Amy could seem to care less.

“Oh god, Liv…Amy, don’t leave me, okay?” Erin grabbed her own drink, downing the jack and coke in one long pull.

“This is so exciting, oh my god, Erin!” Amy was bursting.

“Alright, ladies. Lets hit the lobby and meet up with our dates. Its time to knock their socks off.” Liv smiled, taking hold of both Amy and Erins hand and leading them toward the elevator, using her leg to close the door behind them.

The three were linked arm and arm as the door of the elevator opened into the lobby. Everyone was there, gathered together like anxious high school kids at the entrance to the prom. Sean Astin and John Davis were even clad in classic Tuxedos! Erin held her breath and walked arm in arm on the right of Liv, Amy to Livs’ left. In an instant, Erin found the beautiful Jemma Kidd, her hand wound within Orlandos’. She was tall, blonde and beautiful. Erin felt like running.

Just then, Orlando turned his dark sable eyes to the trio and his lips fell agape. I…cant believe it. Look at her…Jesus Christ, Look at her! Orlando could not take his eyes from the vision of the exquisite enchantress. His gawking was quickly noted by a shove from Viggo, who was purposefully passing by to claim Liv. The motion sent Orlando from his reverie.

Billy, clad in a blue and white kilt with gray sweater walked toward Amy. “Lass, me heart is afire with the look of ya. Ya have me speechless, lass. Absolutely speechless.” Billy was admiring her openly, taking her hand from the entanglement of Livs and placing a soft kiss across her knuckles. “Erin, lass. Yer lovely.” Billy smiled and whispered, “That boy is eatin’ his heart out, now. His fiancée looks like a mule compared to such an exquisite race horse.” Billy kissed her hand as well. “Liv, well, yer alright, I suppose.” He yelped as Liv belted him.

Viggo and Sean came up together amidst the murmurs and reverie of the remainder of the fellowship. Even Ian McKellan, dressed sophisticatedly in a black suit with white shirt and pearl gray tie standing beside his partner, Nick, found himself in awe of the beauty of the trio.

Viggo, in black slacks a T shirt and suit jacket, approached Amy, whispering something to her which brought a blush to her cheeks and a grumble from Billy. “Erin, what can I say but, wow. Let me know when you are ready to make introductions for the fellowship members you don’t already know.” He smiled charmingly, holding his hand out to Liv, his date for the evening. “Arwen…” Viggo smiled and continued in Elvish to say something none would understand, save the two of them. “Beautiful lady, you rival the heavens with your grace.”

Liv smiled and belted Viggo in the arm. “Don’t make me blush. Your still not getting any.” She laughed. Viggo returned her mirth.

Sean, dressed in a black suit with black button down shirt stopped before Erin. He looks so amazing, so elegant. “You are exquisite, milady.” He smiled in awe as he leaned over, kissing her softly on the lips. “I am, without a doubt, the most incredibly lucky chap in here tonight to have such a gem upon my arm.”

Erin felt herself blushing. “Your looking rather exquisite yourself, Sean.” Erin accepted his arm as he walked her into the throng of the Fellowship. Viggo pulled up beside Erin and Amy, taking both by the waist to make the preordained introductions to those both might not have known.

“Can you believe how amazingly lucky we are tonight, Billy?” Sean smiled, watching Viggo escort both of the ladies away from them.

“Me heart is poundin’, Bean.” Billy smiled.

One by one, Viggo introduced Amy and Erin to John Davies, who was quite instantly smitten. Followed by Christopher Lee, Cate Blanchette, Ian Holm and Hugo Weaving. Viggo then brought the duo to Sean Astin, Lij, Ian and Dom. Lij was blushing, finding himself a bit speechless as he embraced both of them. Viggo then drew Amy and Erin to Orlando and Jemma.

“Orlando, I would like you to meet two wonderful friends of mine. This is Amy and Erin.” Viggo held his face stone still though his method was inscrutable. Orlando was struggling and he could see it.

Orlando held a hand out to Amy, shaking it vigorously. “Good to meet you, Amy. Billy has told me so much about you. This is my fiancée, Jemma Kidd.”

“Yeah, though I have not been as fortunate to hear good things about you, Mr. Bloom. Jemma, a pleasure, I am sure.” Amy smiled through gritted teeth, her sarcasm hitting home. “If you will excuse me, I see Billy and Dom have a look of mischief about them.” Amy departed, giving Erin a squeeze of her hand before walking away.

“Erin,” Orlando savored her name on his tongue as he fell into the depths of her eyes. How weak is the foundation I am standing upon? She is pulling me down into her dark eyes and I want nothing more than to hold her, touch her. Orlando kept his eyes to hers, longingly. Erin could feel the intensity, the passion smoldering beneath his surface. “so good to see you, Erin. You look, intense, love.” He took her hand in his, placing a soft kiss on her skin. The scent of her is maddening.

“Orlando Bloom, a pleasure to meet you at last.” She could not bring herself to release his hand. The feel of his fingers like the cool drink of water to a burning fire. The tension mounted quickly as Jemma, feeling the intensity and passion, interjected. Jemma removed Orlandos hand from Erins, placing her own before her face. “I am Jemma Kidd, Orlandos fiancée. I do not believe I have ever heard the boys speak of you before, Erin, is it?.”

Erin cast a cold brow upward, regarding the beautiful supermodel. “Please remove your hand from my face or you will be drawing back a stump. Your rudeness, Ms. Kidd is unacceptable.” Erins voice was sharp and yielding. Jemma instantly flushed, her jaw falling agape at the way in which the woman addressed her. Erin continued. “If you will excuse me, my date is awaiting me. Shall we, Viggo?” Erin felt her insides tingling.

“Of course, we wouldn’t want to keep Sean waiting. Orlando, Jemma.” Viggo nodded as he walked with Erin. He softly whispered to her, “You have a cool head under pressure. I am sure he is about ready to scream. Well done.”

“I could say the same for you. What other tricks do you have up your sleeve, Mr. Mortensen?” Erin smiled darkly as Viggo reunited Erin with Sean.

“You are just going to have to wait and see.” Viggo turned, aiming in the direction of Liv and Lij. Both were chatting with Orlando and Jemma..

Erin could feel Orlandos eyes upon her as she slid into the comfort of Seans arm. “You truly look smashing, love.” Sean braced a fingertip along one of her wavy tendrils.

“And you are quite the charmer.” Erin could not help but smile, her eyes caught within the spiraling maelstrom of his ice blue orbs. “I think this might be one of the most exciting nights I have ever had. Thanks to you, Sean.”

“It is my pleasure to be a part of such a memory.” Sean smiled. “I think they are all ready to depart. Billy and I arranged it so that we could take a limo with just you and Amy. I hope that is sufficient?”

“Are you kidding me, Sean? That is more than sufficient, its absolutely perfect!” Erin grasped him, pulling him close as Sean laughed.

“Well, if you are aimin’ to piss off, Orlando, you have officially succeeded.” Sean looked over toward Orlando, who was giving him a deadly scowl.

Erin withdrew slowly. “What?”

“Orlando has been watching you since you came off that elevator. Viggo filled me in on the drama of last evening. I understand your intentions, Erin. You don’t have to play coy with me.” Sean slipped his hand into hers.

“No, Sean. Whatever you heard is wrong!” She was dumbfounded. “My accepting your offer to accompany you, tonight, has nothing to do with him. Orlando and I are only friends, well until last night. Now, I want nothing to do with him. The sound of his name is an irritation.” Erin shook her head. “I am here with you because I want to be here with you, and damn anyone who says different.”

“Its alright, love. You don’t have to explain yourself to me. I have been around a good many years and seen just about all there is to see. For whatever reason you are here with me tonight, I am simply thankful.” Sean lead her toward the limo.

“No, you aren’t getting it, Sean. I am not that kind of person, to do something like lead you on, friend or not. I really have enjoyed my time with you and tonight is going to be no exception. Please believe that.” Erin paused, looking into his eyes, imploringly. “You are not just some ace in the whole excuse to make Orlando jealous.”

“I believe you, love. Don’t worry about it. Lets have a wonderful night.” Sean squeezed her hand. Erin felt a flush of anger come over her face. Orlando can ruin a whet dream if given half the chance! I really do like Sean. Hell, what is not to like? He is charming, gentle, soft spoken. On impulse, Erin reached upward, drawing Seans’ face to hers, her lips softly cascading over his.

Sean met her tenacity with his own, his lips parting to accept the soft roll of her tongue within the depths of his mouth. His hands wound about her spine, drawing her closer.

He tastes, amazing. He feels, incredible. I am not going to think of Orlando. I wont think of him, or his kiss. Sean…Sean…Orlando…Sean…

“Alright, you two. Save it for the nice, dark theatre.” Billy shoved past Sean as he broke away from the delight of Erins kiss.

Sean smiled despite himself. “Well, that certainly took me by surprise.”

Erin blushed softly. Drawing toward the limo, she looked up, her eyes falling on Orlando, who had been watching her like a hawk. His gaze cold, hurt. Orlando turned his eyes down and stepped into the limo with Jemma, Liv and Viggo. “I am ready if you are.” Erin looked to Sean before stepping into the awaiting transport. In a moment, the fleet of sleek cars slid off into the throng of NYC traffic, hell bent to take over the world of the media awaiting them.

The group embarked upon the pre-show benefit for the World Trade Center Relief Fund at the beautiful Rihga Royal hotel in Manhattan. The most elegant cocktails were served and Amy, coupled with Erin, found it all overwhelming. Press was snapping pictures at every turn, reporters were singling out various actors and asking questions related to the movie as well as personal lives. Erin and Amy found themselves shrinking from the spotlight, leaving it to the brilliant maneuverings of the stars of the feature film. Lij, Sean Astin, Liv and Ian were chatting happily with the press, giving the media additional gossip to show on the next movie segment. Viggo was rather enigmatic, fading from the scene with Sean, John Davies and Orlando. Billy and Dom were busy mishandling trays of miniature cocktail food, as if either had never eaten before.

“So, how is it going with Sean? Orlando has been shooting dirty looks his way through this entire press event.” Amy took a sip of her champagne, the bubbles tingling her nose.

“I don’t even want to hear his name.” Erin commented coldly.

“You mean to tell me that you can shut your emotions off just that quickly? A few hours ago you were in tears because of him!” Amy set her drink down, smiling and giving a gentle wave to Billy, across the way.

“That was a few hours ago. I am with Sean at this amazing premiere event. He is really such a soft spoken, intelligent and handsome guy. Why couldn’t Orlando have his class?” Erin sighed.

“Yup, just what I thought. Your in love with him.” Amy smiled, triumphantly.

“With Sean? Hell, I don’t even know what the word love means anymore. Sean is probably everything a woman could want, but he is just a friend. Well, a friend with kissing benefits.” Erin took a drink of champagne.

“Not Sean. Your in love with Orlando. You have fallen hard, girl. I can see it in your eyes. Sean might be Mr. Wonderful, but he does not elicit the same response you give when I mention Orlando.” Amy shook her head, positive in her facts.

“I am soo not going to talk about this.” Erin grumbled, turning her eyes toward the media frenzy.

Lij came bounding up to Amy and Erin, reaching out his hands for both. “There are some people you have to meet. Come on.” Amy and Erin were forced to Lijahs’ side as he presented them to two women and a short, rather dumpy looking gent. Both were made welcome by Fran Walsh, Co Writer, Philippa Boyens the Co Writer/Co Producer and Peter Jackson, the film director and Co-Producer.

“I hope you will enjoy the movie tonight. I want honest feedback, none of this media hype. This is a movie for the fans, by the fans.” Peter smiled amidst thick, round glasses. His accent was charmingly Australian. Both vowed to him that feedback would be given and it would, in turn be honest. Peter, Fran and Philippa were drawn away from the two in a scant moment, rushing off to the next frenzy of battering questions.

Lij made his apologies, drawn off to the next press interview. Dom, Billy and Sean joined him. The four hobbits were laughing and joking around with each other, looking confident and comfortable even during the media storm.

Erin and Amy slipped off to have a cigarette. Both stood, just outside the hotel, enjoying a moment of quiet. Amy bantered on about how amazing Billy was, in every sense of the word, inhaling intermittently on her cigarette. Erin could not have been happier that Amy was this overjoyed, it had been too long since her friend had something to really smile about. Looking up from her fascination with the red carpet a short distance from where the duo stood, Erin found her face flushed, eyes drawn to the newest member of the impromptu smokers club.

Orlando stood off in the distance, exhaling a mixture of smoke and breath as he tilted his head to regard them both. Amy followed her friends eyes with a knowing smile. Dropping her cigarette, Amy took Erin by the hand. “I will be inside keeping Billy and Sean occupied, if you need me.”

“Amy, wait!” Erin called after her as her friend dipped inside. Why…how could you leave me out here? Damn you, Amy. Damn you to hell.

Erin turned her back to Orlando, bracing her shoulder against the facade of the hotel. Her bare flesh was chilled with stern, winter breath as she inhaled deeply to finish her cigarette…as quickly as possible.

“You look amazing tonight.” The voice was softly accented, barely whispered on the wind. Orlando was standing a pace away from her.

Erin ignored him. Orlando, please go away. We have nothing left to say. I have invaded your fellowship of friends. I know I am unwanted. Why do you feel like you have to talk to me? Let it lay, already. Let me go on with my evening and you with yours.

“I said, you look amazing.” Orlando repeated, his eyes trailing against her form.

“I heard you the first time. Don’t you have a fiancée to be getting back to?” Erin exhaled, facing the avenue, her back to Orlando. I sound scorned. I sound angry. He can see right through me. I know that. Just ignore him. Finish your smoke and go inside, return to the arm of your date and screw this guy.

“I am going to talk to Jemma tonight.” Orlando stated, matter-of-factly. “Things are different between she and I. They were, even before you came into my life, Erin. Please, look at me.” Orlando reached a hand to her bare shoulder. Erin whipped around, fury blazing in her gaze.

“You say that like it should mean something to me? I don’t care what you do, do you understand that?” Her voice was a growl of pain and anguish. “Unlike you, I have a date awaiting me that I enjoy being around. I might not be able to avoid you for the entire evening, but I am sure as hell going to give it a try.”

“Bloody hell, you think it is easy for me to watch you lip locked with Bean? I didn’t ask for this. You sure as hell moved on fast enough. Does he kiss you like I kissed you? Do you look at him with the same eyes?” Orlando hissed.

Erin turned with a huff, walking away with all the ferocity her heels would allow her. How dare he do this. What am I, some kind of trophy to be bought with lies and deceit? Keep walking, you don’t need this. You don’t need him or anyone. Erin rejoined Sean as the fellowship prepared to depart for the premiere of the Fellowship of the Ring.

“Everything alright, love? You look a bit flushed?” Sean braced a soft hand against her cheek.

“Its cold out there. Probably should have worn something more than a wrap to cover my shoulders.” She lied. “I can not wait to see this movie, can we go now?”

(prologue and all quoted speech from FOTR is property of New Line Cinema.)

The red carpet was intimidating. It seemed as though all of New York City had come out to welcome the Debut of Fellowship of the Ring and all the actors approaching the double doors. Each of the cast stopped to sign autographs from the screaming throngs while the press snapped their winning shots.

“Alright, love. Are you ready to view the motion picture of the year?” Sean smiled. Erin was beyond anticipated, which he could read in her eyes. Amy sat beside Erin, Billy in tow with Dom, Lij, Sean A and his wife, not far behind. Viggo and Liv sat directly in front of Sean and Erin. Ian with Nick, Ian Holm, Cate, Christopher Lee and Hugo Weaving sat together with Pete, Fran and Philippa. Jemma drew onto the other side of Sean Bean, Orlando to her right. His eyes lingered on Erin as he passed, settling down with his hand entwined with Jemma. The fellowship was together as the rest filed in.

“I am so excited I could burst!” Erin cried out, grasping Seans’ hand. “Tell me this is a dream!”

“Far from a dream, love. I promise ya that.” Sean smiled.

When everyone was seated in the large, private theatre, the room went dark. Only press, critics and special persons were permitted to this incredible premiere screening. Liv turned with a smile, tapping Erin on the foot. “Here it comes!” She laughed, turning her attention back to the screen.

The Prologue began, the voice of Galadriel falling over the screen. (Elvish: I amar prestar aen)The world has changed. (han methon ne nen) I feel it in the water,(han methon ne chae) I feel it in the earth.(han naston ned ‘wilith) I smell it in the aire. Much that once was, is lost. For none now live, who remember it.”

“It began with the forging of the great rings. Three were given to the elves, immortal, wisest and fairest of all beings. Seven, to the dwarf lords, great miners and craftsman of the mountain halls. And Nine. Nine rings were gifted to the race of men, who above all else, desire power. For within these rings was bound the strength and will to govern each race. But they were all of them, deceived. For another ring was made. In the land of Mordor, in the fires of mount doom, the dark lord Sauron forged in secret a master ring…to control all others. And into this ring, he poured his cruelty, his malice and his will to dominate all life. One ring to rule them all. “

“One by one the free lands of middle earth fell to the power of the ring. But there were some who resisted. A last alliance of men and elves marched against the armies of Mordor. And on the slopes of Mount Doom, they fought for the freedom of Middle-Earth.”

“Tangado haid! Leithio i philinn!” Elrond cried.

Galadriel continued. “Victory was near. But the power of the ring…could not be undone. It was in this moment, when all hope had faded, that Isildur, son of the king, took up his fathers sword. “

“Sauron, the enemy of the Free Peoples of earth, was defeated. The ring passed to Isildur, who had this one chance to destroy evil forever. But the hearts of men…are easily corrupted. And the ring of power, has a will of its own. It betrayed Isildur to his death. And some things that should not have been forgotten…were lost.”

“History became legend…legend became myth…and for two and a half thousand years, the ring passed out of all knowledge. Until, when chance came, it ensnared a new bearer.”

“My Precious.” Came the voice of Gollum, sitting lone in his cave.

The soft, feminine voice returned. “The Ring came to the creature, Gollum..who took it deep into the tunnels of the misty mountains. And there, it consumed him.”

“It came to me,” Gollum whispered, “My Own. My Love. My Own. My Precious.”

Galadriels’ narrative returned. “The ring brought to Gollum unnatural long life. For 500 years it poisoned his mind. And in the gloom of Gollums’ cave, it waited. Darkness crept back into the forests of the world. Rumor grew of a shadow in the East. Whispers of a nameless fear. And the ring of power perceived…Its’ time had now come.”

“It abandoned Gollum. But something happened, the ring did not intend. It was picked up by the most unlikely creature imaginable. “

“What’s this?” Bilbo asked.

(Galadriel)“A hobbit. Bilbo Baggins of the Shire.”

“A Ring.” Bilbo lifted the gold ring to view with his eyes, more closely.

“Lost!!” Gollum cried. “My Precious is lost!”

Galadriel continued. “For the time will soon come..when Hobbits will shape the fortunes of all.”

Cate Blanchette as Galadriel concluded her eloquent summation of the beginning of the Tolkien novel. The audience was immediately introduced to Frodo Baggins, played by Elijah Wood and Gandalf Greyhame portrayed by Ian McKellan. Ian Holm as Bilbo Baggins was next upon the screen, celebrating his One Hundred and Eleventieth Birthday. Lij was chattering excitedly as his face came across the screen.

How different they all look, how…authentic. Erin found herself instantly immersed in the stories she knew from her high school days. Though a difference was evident, thanks to the induction of the prologue, the characters here precisely as she had visualized them from the books. Sean gave her hand a soft squeeze, watching her with an animated smile.

Merry and Pippin also known as Dom and Billy, were suddenly upon the screen.

“What handsome lads, look at those chiseled faces!” Billy cried out as Amy giggled. Dom was laughing as was Lij and Sean. “Hobbits, fer ever!” He continued in his typical Scottish mirth. The four hobbits joined him with laughter.

My god, they are so talented. I can not believe this. Did I actually get the chance to meet and hang out with every member of this fellowship. This has to be a dream. It has to be.

Sean seemed to sense her thoughts as he leaned over and placed a soft kiss on Erins neck. Erin could not help but notice how closely Jemma snuggled herself into Orlando.

“Keep it secret. Keep it safe.” Gandalf blared across the screen. The first look at the tower of Orthanc in Isengard, home of Sauruman was revealed. The Nazgul set out on the mission to locate the One Ring.

“One ring to rule them all. One ring to bind them. One ring to rule them all, and in the darkness bind them.” Gandalf spoke the famous words scribed on the ring of power, before explaining to Frodo the origins of the ring and the necessity for the it to leave the Shire to Bree. He would meet them at the Inn of the Prancing Pony. Next came the introduction of Samwise Gamgee, much to the mirth of the hobbit actors as they ribbed quietly on Sean Astin.

Erin and Amy were both utterly astonished. The movie was already incredible and yet, intensely human. Both Lij, Ian and Sean Astin had an amazing way of drawing the audience into the world of Middle-Earth and the struggle that would ensue. “It’s a dangerous business going out your door. If you don’t keep your feet, there is no way of knowing where you might be swept off to.”

Sean Bean could not help but smile as he watched the animated expressions across the face of his date, the beautiful Erin.

Saruman played by Christopher Lee was finally introduced to the audience as Gandalf rode to Isengard, seeking the council of the highest of his immortal order. The lidless, flame wreathed eye of the evil antagonist showed upon the screen. Sarumans’ betrayal through the Palantir was exposed and thus, the story continued with Gandalf becoming ensnared at the tower. The hobbit actors cheered “Gandalf” as the fight between immortals played across the screen. Ian brought a finger to his lips, turning to indicate the need for them to remain quiet.

“Don’t you lose him, Samwise Gamgee. And I don’t mean to.” Sean Astin’ spoke upon the screen.

Amy laughed, her hand held tightly in Billys’. “I cant believe this!” She whispered to him with a soft kiss along his ear.

“Look at the athletics of those two devilishly gorgeous hobbits!” Billy laughed, bracing a hand against Amy. “Hobbits love mushrooms. In case yer not knowin’” He laughed, turning his eyes to Dom, Lij and Sean A.

The Nazgul made a strong appearance. Their look was disturbing beneath voluminous robs of black. Erin found herself gripping Sean Beans hand a little tighter. Sean simply smiled, returning the squeeze.

The black riders chased the hobbits, more precisely the ring bearer, to the Buckleberry Ferry and BrandyWine Bridge and into Bree. “He is one of them rangers. Dangerous folk, wandering the wild. His right name, I’ve never heard. But round here, he is known as Stryder.” Finally, Stryder, also known later as Aragorn the Dunedain, son of Arathorn, Rightful King of Gondor and last of the Numenorian line; was introduced at the Prancing Pony. Erin could see Liv whispering something to Viggo as he laughed. Viggo was devilishly handsome and mysterious, much as he had been in the vision of Tolkien.

Am I really here? I have seen almost all of the fellowship thus far and I can not believe this! How amazing! How lucky am I to be attending this with the actors, most who are friends? I could never be so lucky…never, in all my life have I been so lucky. Erin glanced at Sean, seeing the light of the screen reflect from Orlandos face

Amy was aghast as Pippin let the name of Baggins slip in the Inn of the Prancing Pony. “Leave it to him to be the big mouth.” She laughed into Erins ear.

“I heard that, you know.” Billy scowled. “Look at this performance Lij gave. King of the hobbits, yes?”

Amy and Erin shook their heads as Stryder came across the screen more fully with Frodo in tow. Wow, he is sexy. Jesus! Are his looks even legal?? Both seemed to be thinking along the same lines as they made a gesture toward Viggo, sitting in the row of the theatre before them.

Stryder explained the origin of the Nazgul and the nine rings of power. Leading the party into the Wyld, toward Rivendell, the audience was focused on Weathertop and the arrival of the Ringwraiths (Nazgul). In the meanwhile, Saruman built his army of Orc and Uruk-Hai, much to the dismay of the audience.

The Nazgul fought against the Hobbits in Amon Sul or Weathertop, as it was known. The Ring Wraiths stabbed Frodo with the Morgul blade at the time he was invisible, having put the One Ring onto his finger. The injury was life threatening. Stryder intervened, forcing the Nazgul to pull back. The information as to the whereabouts of Gandalf at the tower of Isengard became known to the audience. As did the birth of the first Uruk while the armies began to build under the guise of Saruman. Hence, came the introduction of Arwen as the white rider to whisk Frodo away to Rivendell.. Different from the original books.

Liv Tyler looked simply perfect as Arwen, the Elven daughter of Elrond, Evenstar of her people. “What’s this, a ranger caught off his guard?” Liv spoke in Elvish “Frodo, im Arwen. Telin le thaed. Lasto beth nîn, tolo dan nan galad.” The subtitle translation: “Frodo. I am Arwen. I have come to help you. Hear my voice and come back to the light.” Then, in English, she then spoke to Stryder..her love.

“Frodo. He’s fading. He is not going to last. We must get him to my father. I have been looking for you for two days. There are five wraiths behind you. Where the other four are, I do not know.” Stryder and Arwen shared a soft moment. “Ride hard and don’t look back” Stryder spoke. The scene turned to a chase to the Ford of Bruinen. “If you want him, come and claim him.” Arwen spoke before calling upon the power of her people. “Nîn o Chithaeglir lasto beth daer; Rimmo nîn Bruinen dan in Ulaer!” ('Waters of the Misty Mountains, listen to the great word; flow waters of Loudwater against the Ringwraiths!')

“What Grace is given to me, let it pass to him.” Arwen indicated toward the dangerously ill Frodo as the Ring Wraiths were vanquished in the Ford.

Orlando leaned over and said something to Liv, which Erin could not hear.

Gandalf was reintroduced to the Fellowship, describing the situations which arose in Isengard. The hobbits were reunited, at last Frodo gathered with Bilbo Baggins to discover his writing of “There and Back Again, A Hobbits tale.” Additional background story was revealed through Gandalf and Elrond.

Erin leaned her head on Seans shoulder, her eyes fixated upon the screen. The character of Boromir, played by Sean Bean finally showed.

“There you are!!” Erin cried out, pointing toward the screen, looking to Sean. “Damn you look hot!!” She laughed. Legolas was a shot behind Boromir, at which time her hand fell with his close up. He looks just as beautiful with the long blonde hair and blue eyes of the Mirkwood Kin. Erin could not help but look to Orlando, who oddly enough, returned her gaze.

Sean, as Boromir was gawking at the Shards of Narsil, coming in contact with Aragorn, blood of Isildur for the first time. As quickly as he left, Arwen entered. Their words were fluent and beautiful:

Arwen spoke, “A si i-Dhúath ú-orthor, Aragorn. Ú or le a ú or nin. Renich i lú i erui govannem?” (The Shadow does not hold sway yet. Not over you, not over me. Do you remember the first time we met?”

Aragorn responded ”Nauthannen i ned ôl reniannen.” (I thought I had strayed into a dream.”)

Arwen continued. “Gwennin in enninath... Ú-'arnech in naeth i si celich. Renich i beth i pennen?” (Long years have passed, you did not carry the cares you have now. Do you remember the word I told you?”)

“I would rather spend one lifetime with you than face all the ages of this world, alone.” Arwen gave to Aragorn the Evenstar, the symbol of her people and immortality, forever in her promise of forsaking the immortal Elven world.

Erin found herself swooning as the two characters pledged their promises in Sindarin. The council of Elrond finally introduced the remainder of the soon to be fellowship.

“Here is both mine and Softies, big debut.” Sean smiled, drawing his arm around Erin.

Erin watched closely. Legolas flashed across the screen as Elrond gave an impassioned speech, “Each race is bound to this fate. You will unite or you will fall.” Erin was frozen at the face of the beautiful Elven Prince of Mirkwood. He is so amazingly beautiful…Don’t look at him. Don’t look.

Sean, as Boromir gave a fantastic speech as Frodo produced the ring. “A gift. A gift to the foes of Mordor. Long has my father, the Steward of Gondor…” He continued before Aragorn answered with his thoughts upon the ring.

“This is no mere ranger. He is Aragorn. Son of Arathorn. You owe him your allegiance.” The beautiful blonde Elf, Legolas, called out with a sense of arrogance.

“Aragorn. This is Isildurs’ aire?” Boromir replied.

“…and aire to the throne of Gondor.” Legolas continued. Erin found herself enchanted, much to her dismay. She turned her eyes past Sean and found Orlando met her gaze yet again. Clearing her throat, she forced herself to smile toward Sean.

“Havo dad, Legolas.” Aragorn spoke to Legolas as the council prepared to erupt in mayhem.

“Gondor has no king. Gondor needs no king.” Boromir replied before continuing with his speech as Gimli, the dwarf played by John Davies attempted to destroy the ring with one swipe of his axe. Frodo then said the magic words that would rule the fate of all Middle-Earth, “I will take the ring to Mordor, though, I do not know the way.” Each of the fellowship pledged allegiance to the mission as the Hobbits Sam, Pippin and Merry joined them. Thus, the Nine, the Fellowship of the Ring, was created and embarked for the Mountains, the aim…to reach Mordor.

“Amazin’ bit of acting, yes?” Billy laughed amongst the hobbits and Erin.

“You are brilliant!” Erin whispered to Sean, kissing his cheek softly. “Lets not forget, hot.”

“Such things you say.” Sean Bean wriggled his brows.

The Fellowship came over the mountains before the spies of Saruman. Erin found it painful to continue watching Orlando in the guise of Legolas. Amy felt her pain, grasping her hand.

The Fellowship fought bravely against the Watcher in the water. The movie played on and into the Mines of Moria.

Gandalf spoke to Frodo, in regards to Gollum. “Many that live, deserve death. Some that die, deserve life. Can you give it to them, Frodo? Do not be to eager to deal out death and judgement. Even the very wise can not see all ends. My heart tells me that Gollum has some part to play, for good or ill, before this is over. The pity of Bilbo may rule the fate of many.”

“I wish the ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.” Frodo responded. His eyes gave the most palpable and human feeling to the overwhelming task around him.

“So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.” Gandalf drew the audience in, his expressions steeped in wisdom. The Maya spirit was as ancient and versed as he was humanly aware of the suffering upon the small hobbit, Frodo.

The fellowship continued battle as the Orcs invaded the tomb of Balin, thanks to Pippin. Meanwhile, the group was of actors was shouting wildly to John Davies, Gimli, who could not help but smile. “There is one dwarf in Moria who still draws breath!” He shouted much to their delight, in sync with Gimli on the screen. Viggo could not help but join in with the mirth of his friends.

Despite the heroics, in the movie, Gandalf eventually fell to the Balrog on the bridge of Khazad-dum. The loss of Gandalf was palpable and felt by the entire audience, who now looked to Aragorn to lead the wayward fellowship. The look in the eyes of both Legolas and Frodo sent a shiver through every spine, grieved by the loss of the Gray Pilgrim. The group made for the Elven home of Loth Lorien. Boromir broke down after hearing the thoughts of Galadriel, the Lady of Light and grandmother to Arwen Undomiel. Legolas was lost in Lament for the fallen Gandalf. For an elf, mortality was a new concept and this loss, a first for him, was tragic.. Aragorn was beautiful and sheer poetry in motion as he spoke with Boromir. Frodo looked into the Mirror of Galadriel. After which, he received the light of Elendil. The fellowship left Loth Lorien. Legolas felt the Uruks’ upon the shores. “Frodo. The Argonath. Long have I desired to look upon the kings of old. My Kin.” Aragorn directed as the vision of the great kings crossed the screen.

“Do you know how beautiful you are as Aragorn, Viggo?” Amy laughed, leaning over to speak to Viggo who sat in the row before her. He blushed as she leaned back, turning her attention to the screen.

I cant take this anymore. Erin could feel her mind at war with her heart. “I have to go. I have to hit the bathroom. I will be right back.” Erin whispered first to Sean and then to Amy, freeing herself of her friends hand. Amy knew, instantly why she felt she had to leave.

Erin slipped away from the group, gathering her thoughts as she looked upon her image reflected in the mirror. What am I doing? Every time I see his face, I want to crumble. He is too beautiful, too intense. But, he is more than the face upon the screen. I thought he was real with me, I thought there was something there. I can’t do this. I should not be here. What about John? Sean? John is my boyfriend. Sean is so talented.. so incredible. I can not give my thoughts to either, try though I might.

Erin sauntered out from the bathroom, her hand bracing over her brow. She felt her hit into another body as she looked up to plead apology. “Orlando.” She whispered, breathlessly.

Orlando pulled her into the lavishly appointed men’s bathroom, locking the door. “We only have a moment before they become suspicious. But I must speak to you, please, Erin.”

“We cant do this. Please, let me go” Erin made for the exit, Orlando in her way.

Orlando pressed her against the door, crushing his mouth against hers. Erin gave little resistance to his kiss. The taste of him was as the taste of freedom. Her body was yearning. “I can’t do this…” She whispered into his mouth, defensively, beneath his spell.

“Oh, god…Erin..” Orlandos kiss was crushing, fierce and impassioned. Her lips met his, abandoning protest, forsaking will.

He slid his hand along the slit in her dress, drawing up against her flesh. “Please…don’t…” She murmured softly, beneath the assault of his kiss. Her will failed her as Erin found herself eager and wanton. Orlandos’ hand delved beneath her garter and panties.

“You are driving me wild. You are blowing my mind. I see you on his arm but your eyes are begging me, Erin. You have been watching me, all night, despite the movie. Deny that you want me…deny it!” Orlando hissed beneath his bruising kiss, his hand sliding into the soft folds of her most intimate flesh.

Erin grasped hold of him, writhing with a desire that frightened her. Her cries were swallowed by his kiss, her need calling out to him as his fingers dealt deep into her.

“I can smell your want, Erin…do not deny me.” Orlando moaned hard against her, his hips pinning her to the door as his hand pressed deeper into her most sacred flesh…his mouth, unyielding.

“Oh god…” Erin cried as his fingers maneuvered deep within her, one leg braced against his hip. “Please..Orlando…” Erin felt herself flooded with a need only he could deliver her from. The intensity was enough to make her cry out as her body responded like a puppet to its master.

“Tell me if his kiss tastes like mine, if his touch makes you want more. Your lips may kiss him but your eyes see only me.” Orlando removed his mouth from her kiss swollen lips. “Tell me!” He commanded, working his fingers faster and deeper into her, his eyes holding hers.

“No..” Erin managed as she flushed, writhing with the force of his hand. “..he doesn’t.” Her words were struggled through gasps of breath. She felt herself drawing closer, the intensity and excitement fueling her to impending completion. No one has ever touched me, kissed me like you, Orlando…

“Sean wont touch you like this, he wont make you cry out as I do.” Orlando hissed, taking her mouth with ferocity as he pumped his fingers at dizzying speed and force, eliciting the darkest of cries from Erin.

Erin dug her nails into his shoulder as her head tipped back against the door. She felt herself give to the release, her body tensing with a central convulsion of desire. Her lips sought his, biting into the tender flesh as Orlando drank her tortured cries, feeling her shiver and constrict around his fingers. “Yes, love. Let it come.”

Erin could taste the blood from his lip as she fell over the edge of her own wanton desire. Her body seized in one sweet moment of bliss, his image blurred by tear stained, pleasure filled eyes. Her climax rocked through every fiber until she felt she could not breath.

Orlando withdrew his hand slowly, drawing his fingertips to his lips to taste her sweet completion. Erin felt her leg, which had been braced at his hip, return to the floor. The strength of the door kept her standing through the sweet aftershocks coursing her body.

Orlando parted her lips with his own, rolling his velvet tongue into the warm caverns of her mouth. Erin could taste her sated desire, still warm on his lips. “You are so bloody intense.” He growled against her lips, his hand braced to the side of her head against the door.

“How could you do this to me…” Erins eyes bore into his sable gaze. “..how could you make me feel like this and then walk away. Walk out of my life, forever and back into her arms. Where you thinking of me when you fucked her?” Her words were hissed through shallow breaths as he walked away.

“I guarantee you will be thinking of me when you fuck him.” Orlando sniggered as he drew toward the sink, splashing cold water across his face. He braced his arms on either side of the sink, inhaling deeply.

“Is this some kind of game to you? Am I some kind of game to you?” Erin braced her hand against her face, overcome by dark thoughts, replaying the prior moments with instant regret.

“If that is how you want to see it, love. But I think you know better.” Orlandos voice was cold as he washed his hands, tossing the towel onto the floor. He watched her through the mirror. “You are so bloody beautiful, Erin. It is taking a test of my will to not have you, here and now.”

Erin was lost for words. How could you…how could you have let this happen? His fiancee is right outside the fucking door! You have sunk to a new level and all because of him. You have no control of yourself when you are with Orlando. You should be god damn ashamed of yourself for letting this happen.

“I am not to be had by the highest bidder.” Erin finally found her voice.

“You didn’t seem to mind a moment ago.” He countered.

“You are the coldest bastard I have ever met.” Frustrated, Erin ran a hand through her hair, unlocking the door and rushing out into the lobby. Gathering her strength, she inhaled deeply, returning to the theatre and into the awaiting arm of Sean Bean. He smiled as she returned, entwining his fingers within hers. In an instant, Erin was thankful that the theatre was dark, that he could not see the aftershocks of passion in her eyes.

“Yer just in time for the last sequence and the death of Boromir. Ya missed the frames of Boromir trying to take the ring from Frodo. Aragorn, of course, resisted the temptation.” Sean emphasized his words by smacking Viggo in the back of the head, receiving a grumbling look from the victim. “but I am glad yer back now..”

“I wouldn’t miss this for the world.” Erin feigned a smile, looking to the screen as the movie played on.

Orlando returned, his eyes lingering on Erin as he passed to his seat, licking his lips slightly as if to antagonize her further. Erin closed her eyes, inhaling deeply, her body shivering at the thought of him…of what they had just done.

“Come on, Softie. Yer blocking the way.” Sean laughed, swatting Orlando in the hip playfully, eliciting a smile from the Elven prince. The movie continued on. Merry and Pippin sacrificed themselves to let Frodo make an escape. Legolas was brilliant with his twin daggers. Merry and Pippin joined with Boromir against the villains.

“The Horn of Gondor.” Legolas cried out as the tune sounded in the distance.

“Boromir.” Aragorn responded. Gimli, Legolas and Aragorn moved quickly, taking on a score of Uruks’ with increasing tenacity to reach their distressed friend. All the while, Boromir defended the Hobbits bravely, even as the arrows impaled his chest.

“Oh my god!” Erin snuggled herself into Sean, watching the expert swordsman in his moment of triumph and honor on the screen.

“Its alright love, they didn’t really shoot me.” He smiled.

“Oh my god, your so noble. Three arrows and still fighting to save the hobbits. I never really liked the character of Boromir, until now.” She smiled, meeting Seans eyes but instantly drawn back to the screen. Boromir was on his knees before the Uruk, facing the final arrow, aimed for his heart His eyes were fierce and yet at peace with noble, impending death. Aragorn intervened, battling the Uruk in bloody sport, too late to save his friend.

“They took the little ones. Frodo, where is Frodo.” Boromir gasped.

“I let Frodo go” Aragorn responded.

“Then you did what I could not. I tried to take the ring from him.” Boromir confessed.

“The ring is beyond our reach now.” Aragorn stated, softly.

“Forgive me. I did not see it. I have failed you all.” Boromir gasped.

“No Boromir, you fought bravely. You have kept your honor.” Aragorn looked to his friends wounds.

“Leave it. It is over. The world of men will fall and all will come to darkness and my city to ruin”

“I do not know what strength is in my blood. But I swear to you I will not let the white City fall, nor our people fail.” Aragorn swore.

“Our people. Our people.” Aragorn handed Boromir his sword.

Legolas came onto screen, his eyes betraying the sorrow of the mortally injured Boromir.

“I would have followed you my brother. My captain. My king.” With that, Boromir fell into the arms of darkness, passing from the world of Middle-Earth.

“Be at peace. Son of Gondor.” Aragorn kissed his forehead in final absolution.

Frodo intended to head to Mordor alone but not before Sam could interject. The two made way together, for the Fires of Mount Doom. “I made a promise, Mr. Frodo. A Promise. Don’t you leave him, Samwise Gamgee. And I don’t mean to. I don’t mean to.” Sean Astin as Samwise gave an emotional plea before the duo embarked.

Gimli, Legolas and Aragorn sent the body of Boromir down the rapids. “You mean not to follow them?” Legolas discovered as Aragorn claimed the gauntlets of his fallen comrade, slipping them onto his forearms as a remembrance.

“Then it has all been in vain. The fellowship has failed.” Gimli discouraged.

“Not if we hold true to each other. We will not abandon Merry and Pippin to torment and death. Not while we have strength left. Leave all that can be spared behind. We travel light. Lets hunt some Orc!” Aragorn gathered his dagger. Legolas gave a dark smirk, belaying his royalty and arrogance.

“YESS.” Gimli cried out. The trio ran off into the woods in pursuit of Merry and Pippin.

Sam and Frodo gave a touching speech, wondering if they would see their friends again. “We may yet, Mr. Frodo. We may yet.” Sam reassured his friend.

“Sam, I am glad you are with me.” Frodo smiled as they stepped off into the distance. Thus, the fellowship of the ring was concluded with the soft sweet words of “May It Be” by Enya. Erin rested her head softly on Sean, her eyes drawn, despite herself to Orlando…who was once again meeting her gaze.

The audience was in rousing applause, amazed at the feature presented. Slowly, light flooded back into the room while the credits rolled.

“That was brilliant!” Amy grasped Billy, proud of the work he had done on such an undertaking.

“Well, I didn’t do it all by meself, lass. Most of it, yes. But not all.” Billy laughed. Lij and Dom instantly attacked him. Billy slid down in the seat, his kilt threatening to rise dangerously high, all the while he squealed for mercy.

Amy and Erin were laughing as Billy got the snot beat out of him, all in good fun.

“Brilliant work, Softie.” Sean pat Orlando on the chest as he attempted to pass by. “Quite a stretch playin’ a Priss.” Sean had a charming, playful smile.

“Right, mate. Must be tough playing a sweaty, bloody, traitorous human.” Orlando cast an arrogant smile, disguising his voice with such sarcasm you were left wondering as to the true meaning of his comment.

“Don’t you have some hair to brush or nails to file?” Viggo smiled as he turned around, a row before the entourage.

“I have forever to do that, filthy mortal. I live an immortal existence. Immortal.” Orlando smiled, carrying on the joke the two had running for nearly 18months. All the while Sean and Orlando chatted with Viggo, Jemma and Erin were staring each other down. Erin had a brow raised, regarding the supermodel. Amy turned, feeling the tension, looking to Liv who was smiling brightly.

“Is there a problem, ladies?” Sean cocked his head to the side, looking from Erin to Jemma.

“This bitch keeps staring me down like she wants to play.” Jemma hissed.

“You know, for someone with so much beauty, you have no class.” Erin laughed. She knew that it would take just one spinning roundhouse, one little step behind up-chugi (kick), Jemma would be cold on the floor.

“I have no class? You filthy, common piece of American street trash…” Jemma growled in the theatre, heads were beginning to turn.

“Ladies, please.” Viggo put his hand up in the air. Liv kept a smile on her face, amused by all of these goings on. Amy, Billy and Lij had stopped in their tracks. Eyes were on the two females reminiscent of a school yard crowd gathering for a fight. “I’ve got a 100 dollar bill on Erin.” Lij laughed, finding a cold stare from Orlando. “Um, are we going or what? Lets do the gathering quick and go out and have some real fun.”

Erin braced her wrap against her bent elbows. “I am ready for one of these amazing after parties I have heard so much about. Shall we, Sean?” Erin cast a cold smile on her lips, flicking her eyes to Orlando as Sean placed a hand to her spine.

“Yer quite the scrapper. Passionate women who can hold their own are quite..delicious.” Sean laughed, placing himself as the buffer between Erin and Jemma.

“Jemma, that is quite enough. Bloody hell, this is my night with my mates to celebrate something we are proud of. Something I worked hard on. Leave this alone.” Orlando spoke only loud enough for his fiancée to hear.

“Piss off.” Jemma growled, following the entourage out to the limo.
