Gustavo Van Waarde is an Argentinean musician.

His main characteristic is the curiosity and the lack of prejudices, what allowed
him to incorporate elements of diverse musical genres (symphonic and acoustic

music, ethnic music, new age and contemporary music) always producing fussion
material with all of them.
His main instrument is the acoustic guitar with steel strings although he also executes classic and electric guitar. With the step of the time, he has incorporated wind instruments as quenas, quenachos, sikus, erke, moxeño, trutruca, Bass flute, didjeredu, harmonica, etc. In the last years he has studied and manufactured these instruments. He also uses technological elements as rhythm machines and computers.
His most known task is composing songs. He has also been part of choirs and sikuris bands, and carried out, as soloist, original music for theater shows, art and photography shows, videos and documentaries. His last work ,completely instrumental, is "Roads of Ushuta"
In sporadic form he has also written stories and poetries (go to the stories...)
