![]() ![]() ![]() One of the reasons that many gay men and lesbians have difficulty accepting their orientation is that they can't face the prospect of never having children. I consider myself very lucky to have two bright, healthy, energetic daughters who keep reminding me what's really important in life. That's Marian (b. 1991) on the left, looking like an entomologist. If you have questions about any living animal or rock under the Earth, she just might have the answer for you. At the right is Brenna (b. 1993), looking like a warrior elf princess in a tree. She has swift feet, clever fingers and a warm heart. Both those photos were taken in March 2002. In the middle is an older photo, waiting for the Toronto Pride parade in 1999. Don't they look like trouble?
If I had to say one thing to sum up my daughters, it would be this: "They're the best!" |
