Photographs of the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek (Part 5)

This photograph gallery contains lots of stunning and memorable photographs of the Annapurna range as we moved from Macchapurcharre Base Camp to Annapurna Base Camp in the snow, the highest point of the trek at about 4200 metres.

The photograph on the left was taken with my guide, Chhewang Sherpa on a small hill of the Annapurna Base Camp with snow capped Hiunchuli at the background.

It snowed for 6 hours at Macchapurcharre Base Camp the afternoon before we headed to Annapurna Base Camp. The journey to Annapurna Base Camp began early in the morning about in the deep snow

Taking a break, with Hiunchuli at the background Humans are just tiny specks (spot them ?) compared to the mighty Himalayan range

Beautiful mountain scenes during the journey .....

Macchapurchare appeared at a different angle compared with previous photos as we approach the base camp A trail of adventurers making their journey in the snow .....

Finally reached the Annapurna Base Camp after almost 2 hours in the snow ..... ..... but unforgettable scenes like these made the journey worthwhile !

At the Annapurna Base Camp stood a Buddhist stupa among the snow white surroundings .....
